A very good reason to carry a big stick when you are outside or walking! Was scared half to death one day when my sons were young. They were playing outside by the kitchen door and I glance out to check on them and there was a copperhead hanging from a limb over their heads. Needless to say I had the run quickly before I tried to kill it! If you live in my part of the country, you watch for snakes anytime you are outside, they especially like a concrete foundation and will often lay against it, rock salt helps keep them away, they don’t like to crawl over it. God bless you my friend, I hate snakes.
My area is devoid of any kind of poisonous snakes so that is not something I’ve had to deal with . Thanks for the comment Loo and God bless you too .
It took me a bit, but knowing what they look like, it’s easy to see it. I grew up in the country and saw so many of these and other breeds. Unfortunately, when people see snakes, their immediate reaction is often to kill it. It’s an animal and usually we are the ones stepping into it’s territory.
