This man speaks for me and just about everybody I know. Guns are inanimate objects that will harm no one so long as they are not threatening me or someone I care about. Alaska allows its citizens to carry concealed without a permit and now the legislature is working on a bill to allow teachers to carry concealed in public schools provided they take the training and get the state’s optional permit. It is an incredibly comforting feeling to sit in a movie theater and know that there are probably at least a couple of concealed carries there, but I will feel much better when I know that teachers at my son’s school can protect the students if it ever comes to it. And, I pray that it never becomes necessary for those guns to come into the open.
I agree but here in the liberal Northeast there isn’t much home for our schools to cease being “Gun Free” read , Target Rich environments anytime soon . It’s a shame really that the voting power of a few large cities ( typically liberal ) can overrule the desires of the rest of the more sensible , rural people .
The eloquence of Mr. Stevens, coincides with the position(s) of Judge Andrew P. Napolitano, where our inalienable rights are from our Creator and therefore cannot be legislated away.

The issue at the moment is the “spin” liberals are trying to rally people to legislate Constitutional rights may possibly result in damage to our nation. A constitutional attorney should know that. The Traitor-In-Chief, is a Constitutional attorney so let’s face it, the rat bastard is a tyrant.
Twenty-seven words. That’s it. All Freedom in America is anchored upon the twenty-seven words of the Second Amendment of the United States Constitution, ratified December 15, 1791.
Absolutely nothing of gun control, background checks, permits. The US Constitution was deliberated upon and not arbitrarily written. Then, there is the Dick Act of 1902, which clearly states that all gun control is unlawful and unconstitutional.
It’s time to seat a Federal Grand Jury and seek Indictments against those imposing gun control.

I must admit that I do not get to read a lot of my fellow bloggers these days since feeding this site along with the seven other blogs that comprise my website takes up a great part of my day . But having engaged in these conversations with you , I felt that I should visit you as you have me .
Your stuff is very good . At present I find myself primarily being a news aggregator as opposed to a writer . I hope that will change as I develop a larger audience and I can cut back on quantity and strive more for quality .
I must ask however , you really get troll traffic enough that you had to close your comments ?
I guess I must be a very little fish in the scheme of things as I have only received a few comments that I would term argumentative . None about guns either . they’ve mostly come in the past few days regarding my post of Chris Dorner’s manifesto and were accusations of racism . I guess I’ll have to try harder .

My traffic also is relatively modest but I hit a raw nerve of somebody on one of my posts that was, more US Constitutional related, and gun related. My purpose is not gun issues. My purpose has shifted from opening the blog to learn how to operate a computer, as I am from the Pencil Age. I continue to flounder with computers and trying to make posts not knowing if what I am doing is appropriate but on the web, I read much worse. The shift in my blog occurred with the current assailing of Rights as stated in the US Constitution. I took an Oath. I was not simply reciting hollow words. An Oath, to me, is sacred. Our US Constitution to me, is sacred. I am an Oath Keeper. I am going to uphold my Oath to the Constitution.
Bless you and all Oath Keepers . My Constitution is sacred as well . The arrogance of these cretins that pass for leaders in thinking that they know better than the great minds of our Founders is beyond belief .
Listen to the voice of Wisdom: Real leaders, are humble people.

I will be turning in for the evening shortly, so continue to read earlier posts of mine. There is a photograph of President Ronald Reagan in front of many US flags. I wrote from my heart, and many people commented to me that it reads as though President Reagan was standing by my me with one hand on my shoulder and speaking those words. You will notice a difference between a generation of people that knew sacrifices of depression, world war, and many other hardships, and then think about today, the arrogance and pompous attitudes of alleged leaders that have brought us to the brink of economic ruin and hopefully nothing worse. I need not mention it, you know what I mean.
