This is well worth hearing. I have to say that I know a teacher in California who says she would carry if they’d let her. Here in Alaska, our legislature is already working to allow teachers with concealed carry permits to carry in school. Alaska lets all non-felon adults carry concealed without a permit, but we do have a permitting system available for those who want to use it and I believe it is a good idea for those who want to carry in our school to take the training. I know three teachers and an administrator who say they want to carry. Apparently, the legislature is overwhelmed with letters of support from teachers. So, Mr. Lee is perhaps misinformed about how teachers feel on this subject.
