Police Chief Calls Out Newspaper Over Request For Carry Permit Info; Gets Them To Drop Request

” A police chief in Maine took to Facebook to warn residents of his town that a newspaper had requested all permit data through an open records request.
The chief wanted to warn residents that the paper was asking for the material, but said he was legally bound to give them the information under the law.”

Basically, I do not believe in any other words except the twenty-seven written in the Second Amendment when it comes to gun control. Period. Case Closed. End of Story.
Now, on another matter, back in the Good Old Days… If you live quietly and peacefully, and somebody assails you for no reason at all, it would not be out of the question that the person making all the trouble for you without reason, would be eating a knuckle sandwich. In this instance, the advertisers in that newspaper should also be boycotted until their ads are dropped from that publication.
The Police Chief, is a man that keeps his Oath. An Honorable man.
Such men seem to be in short supply in positions of authority these days and thus I will do all I can to recognize those that possess honor .
