N.Y. Bill Would Force Gun Owners To Buy At Least $1M In Insurance
” A bill introduced in the New York State Assembly by Assemblyman Felix Ortiz, a Democrat, would require the state’s residents to acquire liability insurance as a condition for gun ownership.
“Any person in this state who shall own a firearm shall, prior to such ownership, obtain and continuously maintain a policy of liability insurance in an amount not less than one million dollars specifically covering any damages resulting from any negligent or willful acts involving the use of such firearm while it is owned by such person,” the measure, dubbed S2353, reads.”

Undoubtedly, there will be some cheesy provision where the insured will provide an uninsured user of a firearm with liability insurance, which means those using firearms in criminal acts will be covered by those paying insurance. Criminals do not care about laws or insurance and it is rather interesting that NYS Assemblyman Ortiz’ community is one of the highest gun crime riddled communities. Maybe Ortiz should more concerned with curbing abortion, teaching males how to be fathers, curtailing prostitution in his community, stop being so soft on drug dealers in his community, reduce the extreme numbers of persons residing in his community that are on public assistance, and.., enforcing immigration laws of all the illegal aliens in his community.
As an afterthought, every gun owner in America is in fact covered with an excess of one million dollars of insurance because it is written in the ObamaCare bill, that was never read but passed but drooled over by liberal people who are parasitic of our system and I defy anyone to take up the challenge and prove me wrong. The ObamaCare bill was so stupidly worded and vague, gun insurance somehow is probably written into it as means of protection to all those people living their existence in communities having all of the problems as NYS Assemblyman Ortiz’ community.
No mention as my blog states, about how the Cuomo Fatwa was schemed and passed with misallocated funds. Must have been a “happy mistake” they made.
