Proposed Design Of NC Illegal Immigrant Licenses Sparks Concern
” The proposed North Carolina Division of Motor Vehicles license has a bright pink stripe and the bold words “NO LAWFUL STATUS.”
The North Carolina Division of Motor Vehicles announced last week they would begin issuing the licenses March 25 following a lengthy legal review. The Obama administration’s Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program grants valid federal work permits to qualified applicants brought to the U.S. as children without legal authorization.
Some Republican lawmakers in the state have balked at the idea, filing a bill Thursday to bar the DMV from granting the licenses until at least June.”
We can’t believe that the issue here is the design of the license . The issue should be why are we issuing any official documentation to people who have ” No Lawful Status” at all ? This is emblematic of the government’s total disregard for the rule of law and is just one more step towards convincing the average LEGAL citizen of the illegitimacy of government as a whole . Has the system become corrupt to the point of no return ?
This brings to mind an incident that arose years ago when I was an elder of my church . We had a new woman pastor who , at a meeting put forth two proposals . One was to get the congregation to drive to the local Kmart and picket their selling ( legally mind you ) ammunition for firearms . The second was a proposal to make our church available to the local illegal aliens as a safe place to gather . That was it for me , I resigned and left the church and have never gone back . we are being sold a bill of goods that we are just supposed to accept because our ” betters ” tell us so .

The license issue is a double edged sword as it would record the numbers of illegals, and their names, plus where they happen to live or allege to flop, at the moment. I do oppose any support of ILLEGALS, and believe they should be returned to their countries, but hey, this could also work against liberals and big unions that have high illegal memberships because this could lead to RoundUps. You know.., a nationwide Dragnet.
In what alternate universe do you believe that ” roundup” would happen ? I see your point and agree with the possible advantages but doubt that anyone in authority will ever put those advantages to use .

Quite obviously, the law makers do not understand the word, “illegal”. They must be profiting from having all those people here. Collecting welfare of some sort and having off-the-books jobs. Do the law makers really think ObamaCare will be purchased by them or will it be like “Uninsured Motorist” coverage with automobiles? When they shoot somebody with an illegally possessed gun, ObamaCare will cover that also because we will be paying for it. They even vote! Repeatedly they vote, too. Their kids educated for free. College paid, free. Join socialist anti-American unions and spew their liberal crap of how they are “entitled” to everything.
Their dreams are already answered and it makes sense that amnesty and citizenship are all but a done deal, because both political parties, sold out Americans.
