The ammunition quantities were debunked at another site, where the math involved and copies of invoices indicate normal training cycles and reissuing of fresh ammunition. The alleged numbers of vehicles would require some factual evidence of purchasing invoices to sustain the allegations of huge volume of a vehicle designed to withstand a protracted resistance to incoming fire. Not too happy a scenario if one is only looking at a hysteric presentation as it appears on the original site posting the information. Personally, I think the vehicles are real nice.., and that means expensive. Actual assignment of locations and agencies, without thought of mobility factor, will need to be determined, or, who, gets what. The M113 type of undercarriage is probably S.O.P., because if it were not, it would be the Achilles Heel. A much better series of questions would be to ascertain which politicians approved the expenditure of federal revenue during a time of Chicken Little Obama’s pandering of massive spending cuts to the proverbial lower end employees like janitors, office secretaries and similar, while massive spending only increases for items having no importance unless there is a fear of taking on sustained gunfire from the citizenry and then the question becomes, who are the traitor companies all to eager to go against the American People for the sake of profit? We need facts, not fear mongering, so keep calm until this report can either substantiated or debunked. I would also like to see a date when the orders for these vehicles was initially placed and the subsequent dates of approvals and construction, plus delivery dates from the manufacturers. This is my opinion.
Quantities be damned , the video makes plain that these vehicles are being deployed domestically , whether 2700 , 270 or 27 they are unnecessary for domestic use unless one is preparing for civil war . That’s my opinion .
Understood. In an extraction/rescue role, of a scenario where hostages or wounded must be reached, whether at an airport or along a border, or outside of a bank or school, maybe the vehicles would in fact be of wise use. You pull up a tank and people start flipping out, and that is saying nothing about a tank’s availability for immediate use during a situation occurring basically at any place and at any given time. If domestic warfare is actually the purpose, there may end up being trials that pale Nuremberg in post World War-II. People need to have more information on the matter. People need to stop being like ostriches but far too many simply lean liberal and go along with anything government does, without asking for more facts and documentation. If it is then answered as Fast & Furious was to the American People, then we are dealing with an all out Rogue Regime. The markings of “Police/Rescue” are okay to get a Pass by the People, but the “DHS” markings are troubling, as will they be part of a “secret” unit to be deployed at Will, or on loan, or if DHS has something on their minds that needs to be addressed regarding a hostile/offensive application. Our means of Checks & Balances in my opinion have Failed the Citizenry so it is better to confront the government with suspicions and let’s see what the response is and what manner the explanations are given, if entertained at all, which denial would be most sinister in nature. That’s how I see it.

The need for these vehicles in a “rescue/extraction” role is dubious to say the least . They are just another indication of the militarization of the domestic police forces ie SWAT . Nowadays EVERY town of any size has an “EMERGENCY” response team that trains in MILITARY tactics at huge expense to the public . They are seldom utilized except to perform “dynamic entries” vs “dangerous” drug dealers and if you ask me are just another step towards a totalitarian government of the bootheel .
This country and it’s founding principles have be eroded to the point where EVERYTHING that the STATE does needs to be scrutinized with a fine-toothed comb . Is it a co-insidence that the MSM , at the very moment in history that a free and inquiring press is most needed , has abdicated it’s role as gatekeeper and thrown in it’s lot with the statists ?
