Colorado Democrat: A Gun Wouldn’t Help You If You’re About to Get Raped

Colorado State Rep. Joe Salazar (D) – “And you don’t know if you feel like you’re gonna be raped, or if you feel like someone’s been following you around or if you feel like you’re in trouble when you may actually not be, that you pop out that gun and you pop … pop a round at somebody.”
And now we have this, Colorado State Senator Evie Hudak (D) telling rape victim Amanda Collins that a gun would not have helped her, and actually may have made the situation worse. Hudak apologized to Collins, but noted, “I don’t know how genuine it really was.” “

People that pathetic and stupid, deserve to have a Master. As soon as they legislate away their gun rights, they most certainly will have a Master.
Yes, my mother could have driven off three rapists from our home with a ballpoint pen. She didn’t need that gun. I wonder if our neighbor, whose daughter those men raped, had a ballpoint pen. Why was he unable to stop them if he did have one? Why did he wish he’d had a gun?

My first wife didn’t have any luck with the bic either . The only thing that would have stopped her assailant was a gun .
We had a woman here in Fairbanks stop an assailant with a sword. I have no idea why she had a sword in her bedroom, but when the guy had kicked through two doors to get to her and was trying to undo the chain lock on the inside of her bedroom door, she whacked his wrist with it and — lo and behold — he decided to stop trying to get into her bedroom. The police showed up about five minutes after that.
