His finger is off the trigger and placed flatly in safe position on the rifle, not curled or edging anywhere near the trigger. High Port Arms, is a very safe weapon position. Smile, priceless. Camo, very natty. The young man rates an A+, as does the one that instructed him.

FYI: My son, received his rifle as a gift for his eighth birthday. I trained him, I also secured the rifle under lock and key. Never did I have any issues or problems of any nature, especially safe use of firearms with my son. He also learned about cleaning game I harvested. Today, both of my grandsons gravitate towards me, as they too will be taught firearms safety and marksmanship skills. Two years from now, I intend to have them accompany me hunting, and I will teach them necessary skills to provide for themselves, and to respect, harvesting an animal by utilizing as much of the harvest yield as possible. It is our, American Heritage & Tradition. My son never got involved with drugs, alcohol abuse, tobacco use, or any problems. He did get involved in a few fist fights in school where others tried to bully him and I taught him how to fight. The teachers almost feinted when I was called in to school, and I openly commended him for fighting, and winning, when others are the aggressor. Teach kids the right things and why they are done, when the kids are young. Less chance they will be screwed up when adults.
