So it only stands to reason that if banning rifles and shotguns are an effective way to fight crime, then handguns need to go too: they were used in 6,220 murders. Once citizens allow the premise that objects are responsible for crime and not people, there’s no end to the absurdity of government bans.

Since the beginning of the 20th century, governments have been responsible for over 200 million murders. Simply put, governments cannot be trusted; either in the present or in the future. That is why we have constitutionally limited government that is restricted from disarming the public.”
