” An al Qaeda-linked terrorist, who was resettled in the U.S. as an Iraq War refugee after allegedly killing American soldiers, was caught on camera in Kentucky handling heavy weapons that the FBI said he believed would be sent to insurgents back in Iraq.
The 2010 video, obtained exclusively by ABC News, was part of a broader ABC News investigation into the flawed refugee vetting program, which officials said may have let “dozens” of terrorists into the country.
In the video, Waad Ramadan Alwan is seen expertly field stripping what the FBI identified as a Russian PKM machine gun. Other still images provided by the FBI from hours-worth of surveillance footage show Alwan and an accomplice, Mohanad Shareef Hammadi, handling a Stinger missile launcher and a rocket-propelled grenade (RPG) launcher.”
See this companion story for more details on how the US government has allowed dozens or perhaps even hundreds of Al Qaeda operatives into the country under the guise of being “refugees” from political persecution …. sickening . They do a better job of keeping Americans off of planes than they do of keeping terrorists out of the country .
US May Have Let ‘Dozens’ of Terrorists Into Country as Refugees
” When U.S. commandos grabbed a former al Qaeda operative in Tripoli this month, American forces were just hours away from potentially launching a more dangerous covert raid to capture a militia figure facing charges in the deadly Benghazi terror attack, U.S. officials tell CNN.
U.S. special operations forces were ready, if ordered, to enter Benghazi and capture Ahmed Abu Khattalah, a leading figure in the Ansar Al-Sharia militia. But the mission never materialized.
But the mission never materialized, partly because there was so much publicity inside Libya and in the western press about the al-Libi capture.
But the inability to get Khattalah is leading to sensitive questions inside the administration about the tradeoff between getting al-Libi and going after the perpetrators of the politically charged Benghazi attack.”
We all know the administration has absolutely no interest in bringing the Benghazi terrorists to justice . Testimony from the terrorists responsible would be nothing but an embarrassment to an administration with so much to hide .
Administration al-Qaeda Apologists
” The chairman of the House Homeland Security Committee said this morning that the new evidence unveiled showing al-Qaeda plotted the Benghazi diplomatic mission attack proves the “cries for help” from Ambassador Chris Stevens “were not responded to.”
CBS featured on 60 Minutes last night the first Western eyewitness to the Sept. 11, 2012, attack: a former British soldier involved in diplomatic security.
“About 30 minutes into the attack, a Quick Reaction Force from the CIA annex ignored orders to wait and raced to the compound, at times running and shooting their way through the streets just to get there,” the guard said. “Inside the compound, they repelled a force of as many as 60 armed terrorists and managed to save five American lives and recover the body of Foreign Service Officer Sean Smith. They were forced to fight their way out before they could find the ambassador.”
He noted al-Qaeda had promised to attack the Red Cross, the British and Americans in Benghazi, and had already carried out the first two before the Sept. 11 attack.
“They knew what they were doing,” the guard said. “That was a well-executed attack.” “
One has to wonder , from our Dear Leader’s point of view , if this a bug or a feature.
” Al Qaeda is quickly constructing its main regional Middle East base in Syria, from where it plans to export terrorism and Islamic radicalism to neighboring states, then to the West, a new report released by an Israeli security research institute warned.
” Al Nusra Front, Al Qaeda’s official arm in Syria, is quickly entrenching itself in the north and east of Syria, where the Assad regime’s rule has collapsed. Jihad will spread outwards to the region, then threaten global security — possibly with biological and chemical weapons.”
” The jihadis later aspire, according to the report, to turn “Greater Syria” — an old geographic term encompassing Syria, Lebanon, Israel and the Palestinian territories — into an Islamic caliphate.
The exhaustive study took a year to compile, according to researchers at the Tel Aviv-based Meir Amit Intelligence and Terrorism Information Center, which released it.
The Center itself is a part of the Israeli Intelligence and Heritage Commemoration Center, founded in the 1980s by leading members of the Israeli intelligence community.
The report identified the Al Nusra Front as Al Qaeda’s official arm in Syria; they added that the organization is quickly entrenching itself in the north and east of Syria, where the Assad regime’s rule has collapsed. “
These are our president’s ”allies” in Syria , the ones that US taxpayer dollars are being used to supply weapons to . This is real “change you can believe in” .

” Latest reports from inside the besieged Westgate shopping centre in Nairobi suggest that the Somali al-Shabaab militants who laid siege to the mall on Saturday continue to occupy the building, and have taken an unknown number of hostages.
Overnight, Somalia’s al-Qaida-linked rebel group, al-Shabaab, claimed responsibility for the attack, in which they targeted non-Muslims.
Fifty-nine people are thought to have died so far, and many more have been injured.”

US ‘considering military force in Syria’
” Martin Dempsey, the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, said he has provided President Barack Obama with options for military strikes in Syria, where the civil war has cost at least 93,000 lives
Gen Dempsey said that Mr Obama had asked him whether the US “could”, but not whether it “should”, stage a military intervention. The “issue is under deliberation inside of our agencies of government,” the general said.
But in a testy exchange with John McCain, the Republican Senator who is a leading advocate for US intervention, he refused to go into further details or give his opinion.”
