Epic High School Food Fight Lays Waste To A San Antonio Whataburger

” In a hard-fought football game earlier in the evening, Brandeis had defeated O’Connor by a score of 12-10.

Whatever the case, things escalated into utter chaos amazingly quickly. Students hurled drinks, trays, fries and pretty much everything else. They also shrieked and took cover, inasmuch as taking cover is possible inside a Whataburger.

Naturally, students recorded the food fight on a cellphone. At least one sent it into the world via Instagram, reports local ABC affiliate KSAT.”

High School Valedictorian Silenced During Speech About … Free Speech!

“A Texas high school cut the mic of its valedictorian when he went off script during his graduation speech. Remington Reimer, who is heading to the Naval Academy in the fall, diverted from his pre-approved script to speak about the Constitution.

“He was talking about getting constitutional rights getting taken away from him,” Colin Radford, a Joshua H.S. graduate, said. “And then he said, just yesterday they threatened to turn my microphone off, and then his microphone went off.” “

The school went and made Mr Reimer’s point for him … better than he could have done himself , we would say .

Quebec Students Strip-Searched During Exam

” A school board in Canada has launched an investigation after school staff strip-searched 28 tenth grade students after a cell phone went missing during a final exam.

The students at Cap-Jeunesse high school north of Montreal were told to place their phones on the teacher’s desk to prevent cheating during a math test. When one phone went missing, teachers ordered the strip search.

“They put us in a small room,” one student told QMI. “[They said] ‘take off your bra, then raise your arms.’ They even tapped us on the back,” she said.”

HIGH SCHOOL TRACK TEAM DISQUALIFIED FOR RELIGIOUS GESTURE

” Some people are outraged after a high school track team is disqualified from competing in state finals because one runner made a religious gesture. In myfoxhouston.com: just a few seconds the boys Columbus High School 4 X 100 relay team went from winning the regional meet, heading to state championships to having it all stripped away. How did the “W” so quickly become “DQ”? Well. when the anchor of the relay team crossed the finish line, he won the race, raised his finger to the sky and that gesture caused the winning regional’s relay team to be disqualified.
“It’s a harsh consequence for what some people may deem a small gesture. The rule states no celebratory gestures including raising your arms,” explains Columbus I.S.D. Superintendent Robert O’Connor. According to the UIL the relay team was disqualified for “unsporting conduct”. The UIL also points out, it does not have a rule prohibiting religious expression. “You can do whatever you want to in terms of prayer, kneeling or whatever you want to once you get out of the competition area. You just can’t do it in the competition area. It goes back to the taunting rule. I can’t taunt my opponent,” O’Connor explains.”

Georgia High School Students Fight To End Segregated Prom

Integrated_Prom

” Four girls in Rochelle, Ga. are fighting to do in their hometown what the Civil Rights Act was meant to do for all of America in 1964: end segregation.

WSAV in Georgia reports that Wilcox County High School holds two proms for its students: a whites-only prom, and an integrated prom. WSAV notes that the school has never had a fully inclusive prom in its history.

Best friends Stephanie Sinnot, Mareshia Rucker, Quanesha Wallace and Keela Bloodworth are trying to change that. “We are all friends,” said Sinnot. “That’s just kind of not right that we can’t go to prom together.”

If any non-white person tried to attend the whites-only prom, “They would probably have the police come out there and escort them off the premises,” said Bloodworth. According to WSAV, this was the case in 2012 when a biracial student who tried to attend the dance was “turned away by police.” “

TEXAS TEEN SUING SCHOOL DISTRICT AFTER SHE WAS PUNISHED FOR NOT RECITING MEXICAN NATIONAL ANTHEM IN CLASS

” Brenda Brinsdon, then 15, told TheBlaze exclusively in 2011 that students in her intermediate Spanish class were instructed to recite the Mexican anthem and pledge individually in front of their peers at Achieve Early College High School in McAllen, Texas. Brinsdon refused, telling TheBlaze at the time that “Reciting pledges to Mexico and being loyal to it has nothing to do with learning Spanish.” She also provided TheBlaze with video she recorded of students taking part in the assignment.”

Obama Offers More Of The Same Failed Education Ideas

” Sure proof of the failure of the country’s education system is the fact that Americans, the casualties of that system, could listen to President Obama’s remarks on education in his 2013  speech and not laugh him out of the hall.

In his speech, Obama dished out the standard “education is the key and the government needs to spend more” drivel. But those whose critical skills were not damaged by the government institutes the president purports to improve will see the fraud to which parents and students have been subjected to for decades.

Obama’s laundry list of policy proposals starts with a new entitlement: pre-school for all. He also wants our system to graduate “high school students with the equivalent of a technical degree from one of our community colleges, so that they’re ready for a job,” an idea that has been floating around for decades.

Obama wants “tax credits, grants, and better loans” to help kids go to college; he already has orchestrated a quasi-takeover of lending to college students and has relaxed loan repayment terms. And he wants to fight the high cost of higher educations by ensuring “that affordability and value are included in determining which colleges receive certain types of federal aid.” “

Rise Of The Police State? Judge Says School Can Force Students To Wear RFID Locator Chips

” A federal judge made a ruling this week that has a decidedly Orwellian touch to it.

US District Judge Orlando Garcia ruled on Tuesday that the San Antonio Northside School District can require that its students wear devices with RFID locator chips embedded in them while on school premises. The decision has raised privacy concerns among conservative and liberal privacy-rights groups.

The saga began when 15-year-old magnet school student Andrea Hernandez refused to wear the device while attending Jay High School. School officials expelled the sophomore for not complying with the rule that is required of all students on campus. The case ended up before Garcia who also refused to block the student’s expulsion pending review by the courts.

The Rutherford Institute of Virginia represented the student in federal court. The institute said that the ruling was clearly in violation of the student’s privacy rights and it would appeal the decision.

“We don’t want to see this kind of intrusive surveillance infrastructure gain inroads into our culture,” ACLU senior policy analyst Jay Stanley said. “We should not be teaching our children to accept such an intrusive surveillance technology,” said Stanley, according to Reuters. “

Alabama Teen Arrested For Plotting Homemade Bomb Attack At School

” Seale – Alabama officials have arrested a Russell County High School teen who planned to use homemade explosive devises to attack fellow students.

Derek Shrout, a 17-year-old student at Russell County High School, was arrested on Friday after a teacher found a journal which contained plans to attack at least six specifically named students and one teacher. The journal was written by Shrout. Upon reading the journal, the teacher turned it over to a school administrator who then contacted Officer Tommy Morrison, the school’s resource officer.

Russell County Sheriff, Heath Taylor, told the Ledger-Enquirer:

“The teacher could have just discarded the journal but didn’t. The system worked and thank God, it did. We avoided a very bad situation.” “

Remember , The Schools Are Tools Of The Government , Not Of The People

” After a student protested a pilot RFID tracking system in San Antonio, lawyers are now moving to stop expulsion.

John Jay High School sophomore Andrea Hernandez was expelled from her high school after protesting against a new pilot program which tracks the precise location of all attending 4,200 students at Anson Jones Middle School and John Jay High School, according to Infowars.

Under the “Smart ID” program, ID badges have been issued with a tracking chip, which students must wear when attending school. The school badges, worn like a necklace, contain a Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) chip and links to their social security number. This allows the school to track the student’s location after leaving campus and for as long as the badge is on the student’s person.

The scheme is now in full swing and all students must wear it, according to a letter sent by the school district to the student’s parents and made public. The notice says:

“This “smart” ID card will transmit location information of students to electronic readers which are installed throughout the campus. This is so that we always know where the students are in the building.

After all, parents, you expect school staff to always know where your children are during the school day.” “

Again and Again and Again

High Schooler shot and killed by police . Stories change . This is just one reason why we all need to video tape ANY police action we witness . That is the only way for the truth to be revealed . While I recognize that most cops are good it is very hard to have any faith in the good intentions and integrity of ANY authorities these days . There has been too much abuse and way too little accountability .

” Blueford’s family has retained counsel, civil rights attorney James Burris, who points out all the shots were fired by cops. The family also claimed in a statement that their son was left to bleed to death, and that Blueford’s friends were detained for six hours following the incident. The family says it was informed of their son’s death at the hands of cops not by the police department but from one of Blueford’s friends after he was released. The family also points out that the original police version claimed an exchange of gunfire. Investigators say the gun recovered at the scene had not been shot.”

Since the police , in the main , act just like the rest of the “authorities” and circle the wagons to cover for each other  who knows if the gun found at the scene was the dead boy’s or could it have been a “throw down” ?
