NYPD Cops Arrest Woman Recording Them, Apparently Stealing Wrong Memory Card (Updated)

” New York City police officers arrested a woman who was video recording them from a public sidewalk as they conducted some type of “vehicle safety checkpoint.”

The officers apparently stole a memory card from a camera, which turned out to be the wrong one, allowing us to view the video.

In the Youtube description, under the headline, “You stole the wrong SD card,” Christina Gonzalez said her boyfriend was also arrested.

We were arrested while filming an NYPD checkpoint on a bridge between a soon to be gentrified Bronx and a quickly gentrifying Harlem. We were charged with OGA, DisCon, and resisting arrest. I was holding a bag of yarn in one hand and a canvas in the other. My partner had food in his hands when he was tackled. Even though their violent actions were unjust, we did not resist. Simultaneous with our “arrests”, the checkpoint was closed down.

We were held for 25 hours.”

Serbu Firearms Refuses To Sell .50 Cal Sniper Rifles To NYPD

“ Serbu Firearms, a manufacturer of bolt-action and semi-automatic .50 caliber sniper rifles, is refusing to sell their wares to the NYPD. Their reason, of course, is that owing to unfair gun laws, they will not support law enforcement in New York.

Serbu is one of almost 150 companies that has officially refused to sell to law enforcement in New York following the passage of the SAFE Act, the controversial gun control package that has been met with scorn by gun owners across the nation.

The company posted the NYPD’s inquiry as well as their refusal to their Facebook page, with names omitted.

Company founder Mark Serbu said, “Unfortunately, we have a policy of selling to state law enforcement agencies only what is allowed to be sold to private citizens in that state. Since the passage of the NY SAFE act, the BFG-50A is considered an assault weapon and as such is no longer available to private citizens in the state of New York. Therefore we have to respectfully decline to supply your department with BFG-50A rifles.”

If you want to let them know what you think yea or nay, of just “like” them, head over to the Serbu Firearms Facebook page.”

GAWKER POSTS FULL LIST OF ALL ‘A**HOLE’ NEW YORK CITY LICENSED GUN OWNERS

Tell us again why we law-abiding gun owners should register our guns .

” Below is a 446-page list of every licensed gun owner in New York City. I obtained it from the NYPD two-and-a-half years ago via a Freedom of Information Law request. Because the NYPD is more interested in raping and/or eating ladies and spying on Muslims than it is in honoring public records law, the list contains only the names, and not the addresses, of the licensees…

Here’s the full, searchable, NYPD list. (And for the record, they are not all assholes. Some of them need guns for legitimate reasons for their jobs, like providing security for assholes.)

Cook singles out Sean Hannity, Roger Ailes, former Morgan Stanley CEO John Mack, Howard Stern, Don Imus, and Donald Trump for criticism. Apparently owning a gun permit is now enough to get you labeled an “asshole” from a left that considers all gun owners evildoers “

Murder Rate in Brooklyn Lowest Since 1960

” An extreme drop in Brooklyn‘s murder rate over the last two decades is reflectant of the dedication of residents, elected officials and the NYPD to keep neighborhoods safe, according to Kings County District Attorney Charles Hynes.

Mr. Hynes noted that when he first took office in 1990, there were 780 murders in the borough. Last year the number, at 149, was the first time it was less than 150 since 1960. “

Inmates Using Newspaper’s Gun Owner Map To Threaten Guards

” Law enforcement officials from a New York region where a local paper published a map identifying gun owners say prisoners are using the information to intimidate guards.

Rockland County Sheriff Louis Falco, who spoke at a news conference flanked by other county officials, said the Journal News’ decision to post an online map of names and addresses of handgun owners Dec. 23 has put law enforcement officers in danger.

“They have inmates coming up to them and telling them exactly where they live. That’s not acceptable to me,” Falco said, according to Newsday.

Robert Riley, an officer with the White Plains Police Department and president of its Patrolman’s Benevolent Association, agreed.

“You have guys who work in New York City who live up here. Now their names and addresses are out there, too,” he said adding that there are 8,000 active and retired NYPD officers currently living in Rockland County “

How To NOT Get A Ticket When You’re Pulled Over By Police

” A retired New York City police officer has shared some important tips about how to avoid being ticketed when you’re pulled over for a potential traffic violation.

Retired NYPD officer Jerry Kane, 53, told ABC News that if you’re pulled over, it behooves you to put yourself in the officer’s shoes.

“Cops get killed in car stops,” Kane said, advising stopped motorists that the most important thing they can do is to make sure that their hands, as well as their passengers’ hands, are in plain view. “
