” Republican candidate and former governor Mitt Romney is a leader of tremendous character, whose ability to turn around enterprises, talent for overcoming partisanship, and commitment to his country make him worthy of becoming the next president of the United States. The following are characteristics displayed by Mitt Romney, based on his record.
#1. Mitt Romney graduated from Harvard University with a degree from the prestigious J.D.-M.B.A. program, which is the graduate education of the last two presidents combined.
#2. Mitt Romney governed a state whose schools ranked first nationally in education.
#4. Bain Capital helped turn around numerous struggling businesses that went on to become prosperous and successful, such as: Burger King, Sealy, Sports Authority, Staples, Brookstone, Burlington Coat Factory, Clear Channel, Domino’s Pizza, Houghton Mifflin, Dunkin’ Donuts, The Weather Channel, Guitar Center, and the Hospital Corporation of America.
#6. As governor of Massachusetts, Romney turned a $3 billion deficit into a $700 millionbudget surplus in less than two years.
#7. Governor Romney was granted emergency gubernatorial powers and slashed unsustainable spending levels by hundreds of millions of dollars.
#14. Romney cut taxes 19 times, and they were only raised in Massachusetts when his governor’s veto was overridden. The governor used fees to help close the state’s $3 billion budget shortfall.
While we here at YouViewed have no doubt of the reaction that we can anticipate if Wile E loses , we believe that this race is yet to be won . As the good professor is wont to say ” don’t get cocky, kid ” .
” This race is over, but the conspiracy theories are about to begin. And, boy howdy, are things going to get ugly.
To wit, Mitt Romney will defeat Barack Obama for the presidency on November 6, after which there will be hysterical blowback. The election result is quantifiable, with Romney consistently leading in national tracking polls, finding a level at or above 50 percent in many, and closing the necessary gaps in swing states and among demographic groups. Greater evidence can be found, however, in Obama’s sour demeanor and the conduct of his campaign. What a mess.
Opinion-peddlers have noted that the Obama re-election effort has taken on the hallmarks of failed campaigns from previous cycles: scattershot messaging, flailing narratives, ad hominem attacks and joyless mockery. This was never going to work, and Democratic political veterans like Bob Beckel and Doug Schoen will likely admit as much once the polls are closed. Incurables like Alan Colmes and Maureen Dowd, however, will never let it go. And this latter stance — that Obama’s defeat is somehow illegitimate — will take hold in many, noisy quarters. “
We can make it be so … The joy of their crying is close but we need to vote , vote , vote .
“Earlier today the Obama campaign’s “official Tumblr page” featured an offensive message:”

” Democratic Rep. Tim Bishop (N.Y.) appears to have extorted a $5,000
donation from a wealthy constituent who needed help obtaining some government permits, according to Politico .
The donor, Eric Semler, had wanted to celebrate his son’s Bar Mitzvah—the time when a Jewish boy enter manhood—by shooting off some heavy duty fireworks near his home. “
Let victory come tomorrow and in November . Save the Republic .
“If a new poll taken by Democrats is accurate, the recall race in Wisconsin is closer than the conventional wisdom indicates. Democratic pollster Celinda Lake contends that Republican Governor Scott Walker and his Democratic challenger, Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett, are now tied at 49 percent. The election takes place on June 5th and many believe it is a bellwether indicator of national sentiment going into the general election in November.
Here’s hoping for a good day tomorrow in Wisconsin .
“Turnout will be the key to Wisconsin’s gubernatorial recall election on Tuesday—and polls and early voting suggest Republican Gov. Scott Walker holds an edge over Democratic Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett.
Ensuring Walker maintains that edge is the job of Jason Pipes.
He is one of thousands of grassroots activists engaged in Wisconsin’s divisive June 5 recall elections.
Pipes, 38, drives a hulking 1974 Pinzgauer all-terrain military utility vehicle. Pro-Walker signs line the side of the truck, and the bed is filled with boxes of Walker yard signs and stickers. He sports a Walker hat and t-shirt.”
You have until midnight June 5 th to make your vote be heard for the “Biggest SOB in the Conservative Blogosphere ” . Vote here.
Among the nominees are the giants like Ace , Michelle Malkin , Pam Geller and Stacy McCain but you will also find as a nominee Steve @ Cry and Howl .
I must admit a weakness for Steve as he was the first blogger to recognize my site and to link to one of my posts and he was my first follower . GOOD LUCK STEVE .
As pleasant as it is to think that he will lose black votes over the gay marriage issue , I find it difficult to believe .
After all , no group has paid a higher price for his economic policies , yet they remain fanatically loyal even with slight recent declines in popularity .
“Obama’s controversial decision may have garnered him favor with the gay community, but at the expense of his support from the
black community, an important part of his base. In his interview, Rev. Burns predicted this would cost Obama the election. “
