” Democrats have lost their advantage and Republicans now have a slight edge in the battle for control of Congress, according to a new national poll.
A released Thursday also indicates that President Barack Obama may be dragging down Democratic congressional candidates, and that the 2014 midterm elections are shaping up to be a low-turnout event, with only three in 10 registered voters extremely or very enthusiastic about voting next year.
Two months ago, Democrats held a 50%-42% advantage among registered voters in a generic ballot, which asked respondents to choose between a Democrat or Republican in their congressional district without identifying the candidates. That result came after congressional Republicans appeared to overplay their hand in the bitter fight over the federal government shutdown and the debt ceiling.
But the Democratic lead evaporated, and a CNN poll a month ago indicated the GOP holding a 49%-47% lead. The new survey, conducted in mid-December, indicates Republicans with a 49%-44% edge over the Democrats.”
Al Sharpton’s Chicago Town Hall Erupts Into Anti-Machine Revolt
Published on Dec 21, 2013
” This past Thursday, a town hall meeting hosted by Al Sharpton and the National Action Network to address gun violence exploded into a revolt against “Chicago Machine” politics, Mayor Rahm Emanuel and black alderman in City Hall with panel and audience members calling to vote out their elected officials. One 82-year-old preacher even called for “Tea Party” style meetings in some of Chicago’s south side communities such as Altgeld Gardens and Trumbull Park. “
” The first Texas elections under a contentious new photo ID law drew interesting conclusions for an off-year election that normally draws a low amount of voters.
There were nine proposed amendments to the Texas Constitution, and the number of votes tallied was nearly double what it was in 2011. Democrats and civil rights groups have long argued that voter ID requirements suppress turnout, particularly in poor and minority communities.
All nine measures were approved during this election, and dealt primarily with taxes and state budgets, according to Ballot Pedia.
When people are assured that their vote will be counted they are more likely to make the effort to cast their ballots . That shouldn’t be a difficult concept to grasp , but it does prevent the Dems from padding the rolls …
” Democrats have one primary goal. They want the one essential ingredient for carrying out their other plans (such as undermining the Second Amendment or socializing the economy). This goal is to get voters, enough voters that the Democrat Party will have a perpetual majority. It buys illegal immigrants by promising them free food, putting them on welfare, and subsidizing the same education Americans can no longer afford. Democrats know that, once amnesty occurs, the immigrants will vote Democrat. In the same way, Democrats demonizes conservative blacks (such as the recent vile attacks against Dr. Benjamin Carson) because, as Col. Allen West said, they can’t risk losing control over a black community that has been brainwashed through welfare and victim politics into voting Democrat.”
” She admitted voting twice in the presidential election last November, and now, Obama supporter Melowese Richardson has been indicted for allegedly voting at least six times. She also is charged with illegal voting in 2008 and 2011.
The 58-year-old veteran Cincinnati poll worker, indicted Monday, faces eight counts of voter fraud. Two others, one of whom is a nun, have been charged separately.
Richardson had admitted on camera to a local TV station, “Yes, I voted twice,” claiming she was concerned that her vote would not count. She also said there “was no intent on my part to commit any voter fraud.”
“I’ll fight it for Mr. Obama and Mr. Obama’s right to sit as president of the United States,” she proclaimed in the interview.”
How many thousands of other fraudulent votes were cast across the country ?

“ The Republican Party cannot continue to ignore libertarians. If the party won’t support limited government and won’t nominate candidates with a track record of limiting government – then swing voters won’t vote Republican. I believe that the GOP establishment still won’t get it. It’ll take more losses and a change of Republican Party leadership.
As we’ve perused last week’s election returns, we’d noticed a number of races where Libertarian candidates appear to have played spoiler for Republicans—certainly, more than we’re accustomed to. While we haven’t run a comparison with prior cycles, we’ve identified no fewer than nine contests in 2012 where the Libertarian received more votes than the difference between the Democratic and Republican candidates. What’s more, none of these involved the typical 1 or maybe 2 percent you ordinarily expect a Lib to garner: Looking at the three-way vote, all but one were over 3 percent, and three took 6 percent or more, with a high of 6.5 percent in the Montana Senate race. These definitely seem like unusually high figures.
So what’s going on here? I wouldn’t want to speculate too much based on this limited data set. But I could easily believe that a growing proportion of conservative-leaning voters are too disgusted with the GOP to pull the Republican lever, but who won’t vote for Democrats either, are choosing a third option and going Libertarian instead. This thesis dovetails with something else we saw this year: independents generally leaning more rightward simply because at least some former Republicans are now refusing to identify with their old party. It’s not much of a stretch to imagine that some folks like that don’t want to vote for their old party either.

This site is a collection of links documenting voting ” irregularities” from around the country . We must remember that , given the importance of a few “swing” states in determining the outcome of our presidential election , it is not a huge undertaking to sway the results through fraud .
It is unfortunate that through the behavior and actions of our political class they have created an atmosphere where this sort of possibility is no longer confined to the realm of conspiracy theories . Through endless lies and deceit the ruling class has generated a culture of cynicism and lack of respect for authority that if unchecked will surely lead us down the path of our own destruction .

Crooked Politics: Obama Lost in Every State With Photo ID Law
If you are like us , and find it absolutely amazing that a president that has presided over the most disastrous four years this country has endured in nearly a century could achieve re-election , then you must face the possibility that it was the result of more than just ” a better ground game ” .
” The most often noted difference
between American elections among the visitors was that in most U.S. states, voters need no identification.
Voters can also vote by mail, sometimes online , and there’s often no way to know if one person has voted several times under different names, unlike in some Arab countries, where voters ink
their fingers when casting their ballots.”
” Incredible is certainly one word.
Vulnerable also comes to mind. When we demand more ID to buy groceries by check than to choose our government by ballot, we have some priorities out of whack. “
“According to new research released today by Rasmussen, more voters identify themselves as Republican than ever in the last 8 years. More importantly, by a 4 point margin, more voters identify as GOP than Democrat. This is the largest spread between the parties ever. Worse for Democrats, the number of voters who identify with their party is also approaching an historic low.”
In reality, the True the Vote campaign is separate from KSP; while both were founded by Tea Party activist Catherine Engelbrecht, the two entities operate separately. “Everyone labels us as the same organization and I think they do that because it’s a political maneuver to creates the impression that the facts are other than what they actually are,” says Catherine Englebrecht, the founder of both organizations. “If we were to argue this on the facts they wouldn’t have a case.” Engelbrecht said that although she is the founder of both groups, they have acted completely apart from one another. “We’re taking a number of actions to make sure that it’s clear the groups operate independently from one another, which they always have.”
The Democratic Party has charged that True the Vote made unlawful political contributions to the Texas Republican Party by working with the party to train poll watchers and by holding candidate forums that were limited to GOP candidates. “Neither group has ever given a political campaign contribution to a political candidate or party,” said Engelbrecht.
“King Street Patriots has on occasion allowed Republican candidates and officials to come speak–which they can do as a 501(c)(4)–but True the Vote has not.” True the Vote fought the Democratic Party’s lawsuit in a counterclaim by challenging several Texas campaign finance laws related to campaign contributions and political action committees.
Democrats have reportedly been targeting Tea Party groups for harassment since their emergence in 2010. The Texas-based judge has deep, overt ties to the Democratic Party. Deitz has been labeled “legendary” by Texas Democrats. In 2009, the Travis County Democratic online newsletter wrote that, “Dietz’s knowledge of court history in Travis County runs deep, and so does his commitment to the Democratic Party.” The Tea Party group is being represented by Hiram Sasser of the Liberty Institute, who promises to appeal. Meanwhile, Democrats seem to be pleased with their effort to undermine the group. Others have come to the aid of the Tea Party groups in general in this regard:
“There’s been quite a few changes in election law since the Democratic Party filed its lawsuit,” said Hiram Sasser, an attorney with the Liberty Institute, the Plano-based nonprofit legal firm representing the King Street Patriots. “Those changes … have crystallized that many ordinances the Democratic Party is trying to enforce are unconstitutional. Obviously, the court did not agree.”
[Sasser] said Liberty Institute, on behalf of King Street Patriots, will appeal.
Chad Dunn, attorney for the Texas Democratic Party, said that the court’s ruling meant the King Street Patriots would be ordered to reveal its political activities and to pay the plaintiffs’ economic damages equal to twice the amount of the Patriots’ expenditures and contributions.
Recently, popular conservative talk radio host Mark Levin sent a letter to the Treasury Department asking for an investigation into the IRS for perceived Tea Party harassment.
Engelbrecht says the case will be appealed. “The first judgment was unfortunate, but not at all unexpected. We look forward to the opportunity to appeal.”
