FAKE EPA EMPLOYEE WINS AWARD FOR ETHICAL BEHAVIOR

” The out-of-control corruption of the Obama Administration is utterly beyond parody.  You can’t make this stuff up.

But you can make up a phony employee and use him as an alias for your email correspondence.  Disgraced EPA administrator Lisa Jackson – now a highly-paid Apple employee with a nebulous job description involving the same environmental regulations she used to enforce – did exactly that.  She invented an imaginary EPA employee named “Richard Windsor” to hide some of her email traffic.

And “Richard Windsor” went on to win awards for both his job performance…and outstanding ethical standards.

From the Washington Free Beacon:

The EPA awarded certificates naming Jackson/Windsor a “scholar of ethical behavior.” Jackson, under her secret alias, was also awarded certificates for completing training modules on email records management.

Jackson set up a secret email address under the pseudonym “Richard Windsor.” The Competitive Enterprise Institute’s Chris Horner first discovered it in November.”

This only goes to show that the best Federal employees are the non-existent ones . Now if we can only figure out how to make a couple of million other government toadies be non-existent we might be able to reestablish control over our lives , properties , businesses and money .

” The Washington Examiner has more about the award-winning career of Richard Windsor, imaginary model employee:

Among the certificates awarded to “Richard Windsor” was a Nov. 2, 2009 “Certificate of Completion” for “E-mail Records Management.” Jackson had only been appointed by President Obama as EPA’s top executive a few months prior to the certification.

Official policies “Richard Windsor” likely would have been informed of during the e-mail course was EPA’s bar against using fake email names while conducting official business.”

Another Obama Administration Scandal Is Brewing

” Just when we thought it was safe to turn the news on again, a new scandal is brewing in the Obama administration, this one involving the Environmental Protection Agency. It has every possibility of being as big as the IRS scandal, because just like that one, it centers on administration officials playing favorites.

The Competitive Enterprise Institute reviewed FOIA requests received by the EPA from January 2012 to the spring of 2013, according to The Washington Examiner and the results were startling.

The Examiner’s Michal Conger reported:

For 92 percent of requests from green groups, the EPA cooperated by waiving fees for the information. Those requests came from the Natural Resources Defense Council, EarthJustice, Public Employees for Environmental Responsibility, The Waterkeeper Alliance, Greenpeace, Southern Environmental Law Center and the Center for Biological Diversity.

CEI received almost the exact opposite results — 93 percent of their requests for fee waivers to the EPA were denied.

The White House’s Chicago-style politics served as a blueprint for all the agencies under its control — the IRS, HHS, EPA, Justice and Labor to name a few. As Sen. Marco Rubio noted in a floor speech Wednesday, “These are the tactics of the third world.” “

Sequestration Scares Are The Ultimate Washington Wink-Winks

” Put another way, the sequestration scares are lies, pure and simple. Not just bunk, not just distortions or mis-statements, but lies. And every professional politician – Democrat, Republican, Socialist, Independent – in this town knows it.

But the lie of sequestration goes even beyond predictable prevarications like LaHood‘s. The sequestration cuts are from the government’s “baseline” budget, which includes built-in spending increases every year.

So what the professional politicians bewail as a spending cut is actually nothing more than a reduction in the amount that spending will increase each year. The Washington Examiner‘s Byron York did a superb job earlier this week explicating this fact on Greta Van Sustern’s show and in a column that focused specifically on how the Pentagon plays the game.”

Chris Matthews loses it, after poor performance by President Obama

“An alarmed Chris Matthews was hysterical after President Obama turned in a poor debate performance.

“I don’t know what he was doing there.” Chris Matthews exclaimed. “He had his head down. He was enduring rather than fighting.”

“What was Romney doing?” asked Matthews. “He was winning.” “

Mr. President: Take down this film!

” The film, about as offensive to Muslims as “Piss Christ” is to most Christian (and many non-Christian) Americans, was seen by the administration as a perfectly plausible reason for these riots (and murders) to have happened. “Piss Christ,” meanwhile, which received an award and a $15,000 National Endowment for the Arts grant when it was first exhibited, is on display in a gallery in Manhattan this week.

Though Obama and Hillary Clinton have yet to be heard on this depiction of Jesus submerged in a jar filled with urine, they have been filled with remorse at the insult to Muslims. So remorseful, in fact, that they spent $70,000 on ads airing in Pakistan. As the wonderful Mark Steyn informs us, “Obama and Clinton are currently starring as the Siskel & Ebert of Pakistani TV, giving two thumbs down to ‘Innocence of Muslims’ in hopes that it will dissuade local moviegoers from giving two heads off to consular officials.” “

“I’ve been fighting along side ACORN on the issues you care about my entire career even before I was an elected official,” he said.

“In a previously unreleased video footage recently obtained by the Washington Examiner, candidate Barack Obama is featured in a 2007 interview with ACORN, while he was seeking the organization’s endorsement during his campaign for president.

During the interview, Obama reminded the group that he believed in ACORN’s mission and been a loyal partner with the organization his entire career.

“I came out of an organizing grassroots background, that’s what I did three and a half years before I went to law school. That’s the reason I moved to Chicago, is to organize.” Obama stated. “This is something that I know personally.” “

“The Blue state exodus”

“Over the past ten years, millions of
Americans have fled Democratic-leaning
Blue states for Republican-leaning Red
states, according to a new report from the
Manhattan Institute. ”

We are not surprised , but look at the numbers .

“According to the data, California ( +11
Democrat ) lost 1.9 million citizens over the
past ten years, while New York ( +19
Democrat ) lost 1.6 million, Illinois ( +13
Democrat ) 880,000, Michigan ( +11
Democrat ) lost 708,000, and New Jersey
(+16 Democrat) 492,000. Meanwhile,
Florida ( +20 conservative ) gained 1.3
million, Texas ( +37 conservative ) gained
781,000, North Carolina ( +21 conservative )
gained 714,ooo, Arizona ( +29
conservative ) gained 423,000, and Georgia
( +25 conservative ) gained 393,074. ”

“Feds need 18 pages to define ‘full-time’ for Obamacare”

“One of the most-anticipated new federal regulations governing which companies will be required to provide health insurance under Obamacare has finally landed–with a thud.

In the latest indication of how complicated putting the Affordable Care Act into action will be, the Department of Health and Human Services and Internal Revenue Service issued 18-pages of regulations just to describe what a “full-time employee” is. Of note, to the Feds a full-time employee works an average of just 30 hours a week, not the normally accepted 40 hours. “

” Thoughts on night three of the
Democratic convention”

” Barack Obama went into this convention essentially tied with Mitt Romney. Most voters want to think well of whoever is president but most voters dislike the current economy and disapprove of his economic policies. In these
circumstances I thought and think he needs a pivot, an indication of what new goals he would seek in a second term. We didn’t get that at this convention. Bill Clinton dramatically made the argument that no one–not even Bill Clinton–
could have done better. This will be credible to many voters, but probably not to some current
Undecideds. “

” Taxpayer-funded youth outreach: 435 visits by Obama admin to campuses since 2011 “

“President Obama and his administration officials have made 435 taxpayer-funded visits to college campuses or other events targeting students since March 2011 , including 166 trips to
battleground states, a new study shows. “The travel is not tied to trying to pass a specific piece of legislation,” Paul Conway, president of the influential youth group, Generation Opportunity, told The Washington Examiner. “It’s all travel specifically targeted to a
demographic. And when you think about how important a role young voters play in [Obama’s] coalition, then it’s not just by happenstance.” “

” RCP says Michigan is now a toss-up “

” President Obama has scaled back his campaigning and spending in Michigan, where he is confident of victory in the fall, but Real Clear Politics’ analysis indicates that he may be overconfident.

RCP regards the state as a toss-up for both the presidential and U.S. Senate elections this year. The RCP average of the polls shows Obama
clinging to a two-point lead over Republican rival Mitt Romney. Sen. Debbie Stabenow, D-Mich., has a 4.8 point lead over former Rep. Pete
Hoekstra, R-Mich., in the Senate race.”

“Democrats won’t disclose donors to Charlotte convention”

“Interested in finding out who is underwriting the Democratic convention this year? Good luck :
Democratic Party officials say they will not release the names of donors to next month’s political convention before the event, despite an earlier pledge that they would regularly disclose the contributors.”

Bold is What We Need

“Romney goes bold with Ryan as VP pick”

” Mitt Romney is not known as a gambling man.  When choosing a running mate, many observers expected Romney to make the safest, most cautious choice — most likely Ohio Sen. Rob Portman.*  By instead choosing Rep. Paul Ryan, Romney is sending a clear signal that he intends to run a more daring and more ideologically vigorous campaign than he has run up to this point.  And in that sense, Romney has now become a gambling man.”

Yes … No ? What do you think ?

IRS staff were instructed to overlook fraud in applications for taxpayer IDs

” Internal Revenue Service supervisors “urged” their subordinates to ignore cases of fraud in applications for Individual Taxpayer Identification Numbers, which allow foreign nationals to get tax refunds, the Treasury Inspector General for Tax Administration
reported today.”

When 1,099 felons vote in race won by 312 ballots

” Still, that’s a total of 243 people either convicted of voter fraud or awaiting trial in an election that
was decided by 312 votes. With 1,099 examples identified by Minnesota Majority, and with
evidence suggesting that felons, when they do vote, strongly favor Democrats, it doesn’t require a leap to suggest there might one day be
proof that Al Franken was elected on the strength of voter fraud. “

Ex-Limbaugh sponsor says dropping show during Fluke controversy hurt company

” Even though Mr. Limbaugh has now issued an apology, we have nonetheless decided to withdraw
our advertising from his show. We hope that our action, along with the other advertisers who have already withdrawn their ads, will
ultimately contribute to a more civilized public discourse.”

Looks like they made a mistake .

” So how has dumping Limbaugh
worked out for Carbonite? Not so well. Turns out alienating Rush’s fans may have been more damaging than alienating his critics. “

Barone on the “Dead” Tea Party

” But there’s a pattern here that the big liberal press has been reluctant to recognize: Candidates from the GOP establishment are
getting knocked off by challengers with less name recognition, far less money, and the support of the Tea Party movement. The Tea Party was supposed to be dead and gone, you know .”

Obama: Negative ratings in 37 states, but king of DC

“Gallup has just released Barack Obama’s job approval rating for the first half of 2012, broken down by state, and the news is not encouraging for the president.
Obama’s approval rating is below 50 percent in 37 states, ranging from a 26 percent rating in Utah to a 49 percent rating in Michigan. Obama is at 50 percent or higher in just 13 states, from a 50 percent rating in Minnesota to a 63 percent
rating in Hawaii. The president is most popular in Washington DC, where his job approval rating
is an astonishing 83 percent.”

More tales of those most ethical dems

” House Ethics Committee investigators faulted Rep. Laura Richardson, D-Calif., for intimidating her staff, forcing them to “volunteer” for her campaign and obstructing their investigation
into her violations of House rules.
The bipartisan group of investigators “unanimously concluded that there was
substantial reason to believe” that Richardson violated House rules “by improperly using House
resources for campaign, personal, and nonofficial purposes; by requiring or compelling her official staff to perform campaign work; and by obstructing the investigation of the Committee and the ISC through the alteration or
destruction of evidence, the deliberate failure to produce documents responsive to requests for information and a subpoena, and attempting to influence the testimony of witnesses.” “

less than 2 percent of all federal spending

That’s some investment Barack .

” which includes not just spending on highways, but subsidies for Amtrak and Obama’s high-speed rail plans as well. ”

It’s even less significant when you consider that it includes underwriting that perennial money loser Amtrak AND Obama’s pipedream highspeed to nowhere rail plans .

Yes our Dear Leader has a fine grasp of economics and job creation .

” Less than 100 days before the election, a string of public opinion polls consistently show that the
public views both presidential contenders as strong, honest leaders.

The editors find it deeply troubling that after four years a majority of the public still views Obama as a ” strong , honest leader(s)” .

Therein lies the value to the democratic party of a compliant , lapdog media . That is a service that no amount of campaign advertising could ever hope to equal .

All we libertarian/conservative types can say is ” thank God Al Gore invented the internet” .

The truth will out … But not without cost

Such a snapshot is particularly troubling for Obama, given that his campaign has dumped more than $100 million into television
advertisements in battleground states — roughly three-quarters of it on attack ads against Romney.”

Friends of Israel , please consider this simple fact on November 6th …

The Romney View …

“it is a deeply moving experience to be in Jerusalem, the capital of Israel.”

The Obama View …

“It’s the view of this administration that the capital is something that should be determined in final status negotiations between the parties.”
