YACHT Parties at the NSA with Marc Maron

” The National Security Agency is snatching the emails and telephone calls of millions of ordinary Americans from the fiber-optic backbones that carry our most private thoughts across the world. They are doing this with the assistance of our nation’s largest phone and Internet companies. Even if you trust these corporations and the NSA–the largest and most obscure of U.S. intelligence organizations–with your private information, the precedent set by this far-reaching and unaccountable domestic spying program is unacceptable. We live much of our lives online; we should be outraged by the extent of the NSA’s domestic spying programs. Instead, we are sinking into a dangerous indifference. Insidious forces are at work. Help us reverse the entropy.

The Electronic Frontier Foundation is a donation-supported nonprofit that fights back against the government to protect our digital rights; 100% of your donation to download “Party at the NSA” will go straight to fund their important work.”

“Party at the NSA” Lyrics:

Did you read my mail again?
How do you find the time?
I lost my signal yesterday,
But it was never mine.

We don’t need no privacy.
What do you want that for?
Don’t you think it’ll spoil our fun
If you let that whistle blow?

P-P-P-Party at the NSA,
Twenty, twenty, twenty-four hours a day!

There is a rainbow at the end of every P-R-I-S-M.

Be careful where you look today,
Careful what you share.
We’re gonna make history.
But it won’t know we’re there.

The world looks stranger when you look
Through electronic eyes.
There’s a place in the Beehive State
Where the network goes to die.

P-P-P-Party at the NSA,
Twenty, twenty, twenty-four hours a day! “

HATTERAS: 100-FOOT MOTORYACHT RISING

” A recent visit to New Bern, NC, home of Pepsi and Hatteras, allowed us to catch up on the construction of its new flagship: the Hatteras 100 RPH.

At one point or another, all companies face this challenge when introducing a new model: How do you strike the right balance between innovation and tradition without losing loyal customers? Hatteras Yachts, which recently designed its flagship and is well into the build of Hull No. One of its new 100-foot raised pilothouse motoryacht, seems to be on the right track.

When we visited in early August, there was much to see of the new flagship, including the elegant composite hull, fresh out of the mold, and a full-size mockup of the lower, main and upper decks, spread out in a rented commercial space close to the shipyard.

Every component of the interior, from the beds to the helm console, coffee tables and lounge chairs on the sun deck, were built to scale in cardboard and plywood. The mockup had the dual purpose of helping the Hatteras design team—under the guidance of Hatteras’ manager of product design, David Brown—come up with the best spatial arrangements and also affords owners the opportunity to give their input while getting a feel for the new motoryacht.  “

The Good That Yachting Does Do And Can Do

“Ports Of Cause (POC), the brainchild of Joyce Clear of Clear Group International, is an innovative superyacht initiative designed to promote yachting and to “give back.”

At the heart of the concept is a newly refurbished yacht, the 116-foot classic yacht Highlander, which will serves as an ambassador of the superyacht community and support worthwhile charities through events and other initiatives.

Since coming up with the idea, Clear has worked tirelessly to find a flagship and make Ports of Cause a reality. Her hard work paid off. POC’s flagship is the renowned Highlander, a 1967-built Feadship motoryacht now owned by Victor Muller, CEO of Dutch super car manufacturer Spyker NV. Highlander was built for Malcolm Forbes, who used the yacht for business and pleasure. The yacht traveled the world, entertaining kings and queens, presidents, business moguls, movie stars and celebrities “

New Hatteras GT 54

See More Here

” Tuesday the 4th of December was a great day for Game & Leisure Boats and Hatteras in Australia. Tuesday was the day we launched the brand new Hatteras GT54, the first of this impressive model to arrive into Australia. We were delighted to showcase this stunning new vessel for her proud new owners and she will make her permanent home in Brisbane later this week.

What was even more exciting was that we had our great friends from New Guinea with us for the event, with their new GT54 arriving in PNG in January. We now can’t wait for the amazing new Hatteras 60 Motor Yacht to arrive mid this year. “

A Bad Day On The Water

” MIAMI. — An 80 foot yacht named “Bliss” was anything but blissfull.

The yacht caught fire and then started to sink. You can see the stern is completely under water.

According to the U.S. Coast Guard, the yacht caught fire about a mile off the coast of Miami Beach.

The Coast Guard was in the process of boarding the vessel for a routine inspection when it caught fire.

The three passengers on-board jumped into the water and were rescued by the Coast Guard. Luckily no injuries were reported.”
