” Eighteen Americans were killed in the 1993 Battle of Mogadishu. The two-day firefight during which a group of soldiers tried to rescue their fallen comrades inspired the film ‘Black Hawk Down.’ According to critics, the Clinton White House failed to provide our men with the resources needed to complete the mission. Howard Wasdin, who survived the battle at Mogadishu and went on to write “SEAL Team Six: Memoirs of an Elite Navy SEAL Sniper,” joined Fox and Friends this morning.”
