Gun Enthusiast Finds Nearly 300lbs Of Pot Stashed Inside ‘new’ Safe He Bought

 

Contraband: Investigators in Ohio say the 10 bricks of pot found inside the safe had an estimated street value of $420,000

 

 

” An Ohio man had what he thought to be an empty safe delivered to his home in Sidney, only to discover 285lbs of marijuana stashed inside.

Shelby County Sheriff John Lehart said that he got a call from a local resident June 19 reporting that he found the neatly packed drugs inside the vault that he had ordered to store a cache of 24 rifles and a dozen shotguns.

‘I’ve been in law enforcement for 47 years and I’ve never seen anything like this,’ he said. “
