” The two armed gunmen in hiding after the Paris magazine terror attack are reportedly “located” in north France, as the country reels from losing 12 people in their brutal slaughter.

The manager of a petrol station near Villers-Cotteret in the northern Aisne region “recognised the two men suspected of having participated in the attack against Charlie Hebdo”, a source close to the investigation said.

The latest reports on their location comes after Parisians paused with the world to remember the victims of the terror attack tonight during a minute’s silence.

It also comes as a female police officer died in a second shootout and a street sweeper was gravely wounded at the southern edge of Paris.

The second incident raised tensions a day after the gunmen stormed the offices of Charlies Hebdo.

French Interior Minister Bernard Cazeneuve cautioned against jumping to any conclusions about the second shooting, which has not been linked to the assault on the newspaper Charlie Hebdo, which left two police officers among the dead.

In the second shooting, he said the officer had stopped to investigate a traffic accident when the firing started. Paris police said the second victim was a street sweeper.”
