There Is A Storm Coming

” Along with Tax Day, this year April 15th marked Holocaust Remembrance Day, to remind us of the horrors perpetrated by Nazi Germany and its European allies against the stateless and hapless Jews a mere 70 years ago. The largest Jewish cemetery in the world is called Europe.

Before the Second World War, there were some 18 million Jews. After the war there were only 12 million remaining. The six million who perished soaked the benighted soil of Europe with their blood and filled the skies with their ashes.

But these were the Jewish victims of the 20th century. For nearly two millennia, millions more had died and suffered cruel martyrdom.

Yet the continued existence of the Jews throughout terrible and persistent persecutions remains one of the greatest of all miracles, surpassed only by the rebirth of Israel.

We often call the horrors inflicted upon the Jewish people and faith by its nineteenth-century term: anti-Semitism. But it is a poison within humanity, a persistent virus that remains impervious to eradication. Simply put, it is Jew hatred. It has erupted again throughout Europe and mirrors in its perversions and mindless violence the stark memories of the Third Reich.

France has given us great literature and wondrous music. But that nation also gave us the notorious Dreyfus Affair and the Vichy regime that happily rounded up its Jewish citizens and sent them to the German death camps. That same nation is now submerged under a vast influx of Muslim immigrants who spew Jew hatred learned by rote from the Koran and the Hadith.

Many Frenchmen and women joined them in an orgy of utter hate against the embattled but reconstituted Jewish homeland: Israel. That ugly spectacle contained within it the old virus: Jew hatred.”

Anti-Semitic Attackers Yelling ‘We Will Kill You’ Storm Synagogue In London

” A group of approximately 20 youths attacked a local synagogue in the London suburb of Stamford Hill over the weekend, yelling threats, beating worshipers and vandalizing property, according to IsraelHatzolah’s official twitter account.

One witness belonging to the “Ahavat Torah” congregation described the mob as shouting “we will kill you” as they proceeded to physically assault the worshipers inside the synagogue and tear apart prayer books.”

Ten Reasons Why I Am No Longer A Leftist

” How far left was I? So far left my beloved uncle was a card-carrying member of the Communist Party in a Communist country. When I returned to his Slovak village to buy him a mass card, the priest refused to sell me one. So far left that a self-identified terrorist proposed marriage to me. So far left I was a two-time Peace Corps volunteer and I have a degree from UC Berkeley. So far left that my Teamster mother used to tell anyone who would listen that she voted for Gus Hall, Communist Party chairman, for president. I wore a button saying “Eat the Rich.” To me it wasn’t a metaphor.

I voted Republican in the last presidential election.

Below are the top ten reasons I am no longer a leftist. This is not a rigorous comparison of theories. This list is idiosyncratic, impressionistic, and intuitive. It’s an accounting of the milestones on my herky-jerky journey.”

Presbyterians Vote To Divest In Protest Against Israel

” The Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) on Friday became the most prominent religious group in the United States to endorse divestment as a protest against Israeli policies toward Palestinians, voting to sell church stock in three companies whose products Israel uses in the occupied territories.

The General Assembly voted by a razor-thin margin — 310-303 — to sell stock in Caterpillar, Hewlett-Packard, and Motorola Solutions. Two years ago, the General Assembly rejected a similar divestment proposal by two votes.

The American Jewish Committee, a policy and advocacy group based in New York, said the vote was “driven by hatred of Israel.” But Heath Rada, moderator for the church meeting, said immediately after the vote that “in no way is this a reflection of our lack of love for our Jewish brothers and sisters.”

The decision is expected to reverberate beyond the 1.8 million-member church. It comes amid discouragement over failed peace talks that have left activists desperate for some way to affect change and as the broader movement known as BDS — or boycott, divestment and sanctions against Israel — has gained some momentum in the U.S., Israel’s closest and most important ally.

Presbyterians who advocated for divestment insisted their action was not part of the broader boycott movement. Israeli officials, along with many American Jewish groups, denounced the campaign as an attempt to delegitimize the Jewish state. Separately, the assembly also voted to re-examine its support for a two-state solution.

In a statement on its Facebook page, the Israeli Embassy in Washington denounced the resolution as “shameful.” “

As if the Church doesn’t have enough problems with declining membership , now it chooses to slit it own throat in the name of , “tolerance” … Jesus H Ch***t .

The Presbyterian church lost me years ago , when I resigned my Eldership as the result of our Pastor , in a board meeting proposing a church trip to boycott Walmart for selling a legal product (guns & ammo) and in the same motion deciding that the church building should be made available for use by the illegal alien community of our town …

Read the whole story of the PresbyterianUSA’s voluntary journey towards extinction here . As with most things involving faith , when you try to be all things to all people you instead end up being nothing to nobody .

Belgium Police Release Video Of Deadly Jewish Museum Attack

” Belgium police on Sunday released video footage of the gunman who shot and killed four people a day earlier in what appeared to be a premeditated attack on the Jewish Museum in Brussels.

In the video, the suspect can be seen entering the museum carrying two heavy black bags from which he then pulls a Kalashnikov automatic rifle and opens fire. The man’s face is not clear in the footage as his head is covered by a gray cap.

An Israeli couple, a French woman and a Belgian man died in the deadly shooting, which has revived fears of a fresh wave of anti-Semitism in Europe. The Belgian national died of his wounds in hospital on Sunday.

Speaking at a press conference in Brussels on Sunday, deputy prosecutor Ine Van Wymersch said security officials were looking for a lone suspect in the lethal shooting. The suspect, she added, was “armed and well prepared.”

Rialto Unified Defends Writing Assignment On Confirming Or Denying Holocaust

Cali Holocaust Denial

” The Rialto Unified School District is defending an eighth-grade assignment that asks students to debate in writing whether the Holocaust was “merely a political scheme created to influence public emotion and gain.”
The district says the assignment is merely to teach students to evaluate the quality of evidence made by advocates or opponents of an issue.

“ When tragic events occur in history, there is often debate about their actual existence,” the assignment reads. “For example, some people claim the Holocaust is not an actual historical event, but instead is a propaganda tool that was used for political and monetary gain. Based upon your research on this issue, write an argumentative essay, utilizing cited textual evidence, in which you explain whether or not you believe the Holocaust was an actual event in history, or merely a political scheme created to influence public emotion and gain. Remember to address counterclaims (rebuttals) to your stated claim. You are also required to use parenthetical (internal) citations and to provide a Works Cited page.””

Backup Presidential Limo On Its Way For Obama In Israel After Fuel Filling Failure

” One of the limousines in Barack Obama‘s fleet has broken after reports that it was mistakenly filled with the wrong fuel at the start of the US president’s visit to Israel.

Another limo is on its way from Jordan, according to Ma’an News agency, citing Israel’s Channel 10, to replace one that was filled with diesel instead of gasolene.

Ma’an reports:

Hebrew-language websites described the malfunctioning limo, brought from Washington specially for the visit, as the first unforseen incident during Obama’s three-day visit to the region.

Obama is scheduled to leave the airport to Jerusalem in a helicopter. A parade of Black Hawk helicopters will follow the presidential helicopter carrying his delegation.”

Gee , a private flight for a limousine … how much will that add to the debt ? Does any competence exist in this administration ?

There’s a metaphor in this so mewhere … a failed presidential ride for a failed presidential visit … for a failed presidential foreign policy … for a failed presidency … We’re sure the failure analogies could continue for a few more paragraphs pages .

On the other hand , he certainly doesn’t need a limo to visit a city that his own White House map says doesn’t exist ...

White House Map ‘Erases’ Jerusalem, Biblical Territories

White_House_Israel_Map

” The White House has released what it says is a map of Israel. The only problem is that Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria and the Golan Heights are missing.

An Obama administration video highlighting the president’s plans for his Mideast trip depicts Jerusalem, the Golan and the West Bank – also known as Judea and Samaria – as non-Israeli territory.

The Washington Free Beacon, which first reported the discrepancies, noted the video shows the Golan Heights as part of Syria; Jerusalem is depicted as part of the West Bank; and northern Israel is shown as part of Lebanon.”

THE TEN PLAGUES: HOW OBAMA DAMAGED RELATIONS WITH ISRAEL

” President Barack Obama heads to Israel today to fulfill a campaign promise from 2012, as Israelis prepare for Monday’s Passover holiday. Though the White House is lowering expectations of the visit, there are signs it may help to repair a relationship that has suffered over the past four years. In the spirit of the Exodus story, here are the “Ten Plagues” that Obama brought to U.S.-Israel relations, in rough chronological order.

1. A weak U.S. approach to the Iranian regime and its nuclear program. When he took office in 2009, Obama had committed to meeting with Iranian leaders “without preconditions”–even though the regime’s genocidal aims toward Israel were clear. The Obama administration dragged its feet on sanctions, failed to support Iran’s democratic uprising, and frustrated both Israel and U.S. allies in Europe with its timid approach.”

A SETBACK FOR ISRAEL? SPAIN JOINS FRANCE IN PLANS TO BACK PALESTINIAN STATE AT THE U.N.

Anti-Semitism is rampant in Europe and it goes hand in hand with the de facto establishment of Sha’aria law that is taking over as Old Europe succumbs to the immmigrant birth tidal wave that is fast making the French , Germans , Dutch and other continental peoples extinct .

” Spain’s foreign minister says Spain will vote in favor of recognition of a Palestinian state at the U.N. General Assembly this week.

Jose Manuel Garcia Margallo told parliament Wednesday that Spain would support the Palestinian bid at the U.N., because it feels it is the best way to advance toward peace.

As TheBlaze reported on Tuesday, France became the first major European country to come out in favor of U.N. recognition, a move seen as a setback for Israel. The timing of the French move seemed to be rooted in an attempt to sway other European nations in the same direction. In Spain’s case, such a notion took root. “

“tempest in a teapot ”

A Dagger in Jerusalem “

“What an illuminating moment on CBS This Morning, as Senator Schumer puts a dagger through the heart (to use his favorite expression) of Jerusalem. He is being interviewed on the decision of the Democratic Party to remove from its platform this year language it had four years ago asserting that Jerusalem is and will remain the capital of Israel. He is asked why the step was taken. Mr. Schumer dodges the question by asserting that “everyone knows” the “vast, overwhelming majority” of Democrats are for Jerusalem being the undivided capital of Israel. He calls it a “tempest in a teapot.” He then confesses he doesn’t know why it’s no longer in the party platform.”

He does indeed know why . it’s because the extreme left wing of the party has been taken over by anti-semites and the extreme left wing is calling the shots thanks to an extreme left wing president .

“Charlie Rose doesn’t let him off, asking him several times what is the president’s position. Mr. Schumer tries another dodge, saying the president is for a “very, very strong” Israel. But what is the president’s position on Jerusalem as the capital? persists Mr. Rose. Mr. Schumer tries to get Mr. Rose to believe that Mr. Schumer doesn’t know the president’s position. Mr. Rose will have none of it. “You know what his position is, don’t you,” he says. “No, I don’t,” Mr. Schumer claims. “You don’t know?” Mr. Rose asks in disbelief.  “You’ve never asked him to support Jerusalem as the capital of Israel?” Says Mr. Schumer: “I’ve always assumed . . . “ Mr. Rose is still voicing incredulity at the end of the clip.”

As a Jew Chuck Schumer should be ashamed of himself . As Jews in general should be ashamed of the totally unwarranted support they offer the party of hatred and devisiveness .

“Horror show: Wednesday night at the DNC”

“Wednesday was a wonderful political day for Republicans. Let’s recap. The day started off with the flap over platform language. That in
turn led to the spectacle of Democratic delegates booing the vote to put back Jerusalem and God back into the platform. It was even in the eyes of the most Obama-
sympathetic media a horrid disruption, signaling both incompetence and hostility to things that many if not most Americans hold dear. The news got worse as Politico reported that the
president had signed off on the platform sans God and Jerusalem. The Romney camp could hardly believe the avalanche of atrocious
press . (Democratic National Committee chairwoman Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz’s
insistence that there had been no controversy brought CNN’s Anderson Cooper to declare
she was operating in an “alternate universe.”)

It was a remarkable, actual newsmaking episode, something we rarely get at conventions. Moreover, it was the worst blunder
in a scripted TV event in recent memory. “

A scathing indictment of  the UN , its rampant corruption , blatant anti-semitism , complete ineffectiveness  and worse still , an explanation of why it is likely to remain so .

“This paradox points to one of the
fundamental reasons for the persistence of the United Nations over time. The chronic promise of tomorrow provides a reason to put up with the chronic failures of today. Everything the organization does today, no matter how ineffective, ineffectual, corrupt, rent-seeking, or just plain wrong,
has to be excused on the basis of what the organization will someday be.

It does not finally matter what the scandal, the appallingly bad behavior, the failure of management or of execution or of fiscal control happens to be. It can be wholesale mismanagement and corruption through.the Oil-for-Food program (does anyone
still recall that multi-billion dollar scandal?) and the flight of a senior UN executive tohis extradition-free home state.

It might be rape and sexual.predation against the young, not only by UN peacekeeping troops trading sex for food but also by UN civilian staff in African conflicts—followed by stern
pronouncements of zero tolerance but no actual criminal prosecutions. Or it might be the unveiling of a $23 million mural on
the ceiling of the UN Human Rights
Council chambers—the main sponsor, Spain, having raided its international development aid budget to help pay for it.

It might be the relentless orchestration of.reports, statements, declarations,
resolutions, and investigations by that same Human Rights Council, beneath its magnificent mural, and its members and various “independent” experts and NGO
enablers against a single state: Israel.

Or it could be the utter and disastrous inability of the United Nations to actually get aid in a timely fashion to victims of the
2004 tsunami, as its aid czar held press conferences and sent observers to reconnoiter and finally fell into the usual
default activity of blaming the United States. Or—at the largest political levels, looking back across UN history—it might be UN inaction in genocide in Rwanda and
Bosnia. “

More evidence of the corruption of pretty much all international institutions . If the IOC can’t find it in their hearts to hold a moment of silence for the slain Israeli athletes of Munich 40 years on then it is obvious that anti-semitism is thriving .

“In spite of the growing calls for a moment of silence in honor of the 11 Israelis murdered by Palestinian terrorists at the 1972 Munich Olympics, the head of the International Olympic Committee said yesterday that he would not alter his determination to refuse to allow the issue to intrude upon the opening ceremonies of the London Games this Friday. Jacques Rogge said yesterday that it “was not fit” for a commemoration of Munich to be included in the gala start to the global athletic extravaganza.

This week, President Obama added his voice to those already calling for a moment of silence at the ceremony. Perhaps even more importantly, Bob Costas, NBC television’s Olympic host, has said that he will impose his own moment of silence on the coverage of the event when the Israeli team enters the stadium:”
