Legal Insurrection Gets Results: Ben Carson Taken Off SPLC “Extremist” List

” On the O’Reilly show tonight, it was announced that the Southern Poverty Law Center has taken Dr. Ben Carson off the “Extremist” Watch List.

And sure enough, Carson no longer is on the List. Carson’s former Extremist profile now redirects to a page with this statement:

In October 2014, we posted an “Extremist File” of Dr. Ben Carson. This week, as
we’ve come under intense criticism for doing so, we’ve reviewed our profile and
have concluded that it did not meet our standards, so we have taken it down and
apologize to Dr. Carson for having posted it.”

Here Is The Complete Apology From Their Facebook Page

Dear Cracker Barrel Customer:

” When we made the decision to remove and evaluate certain Duck Dynasty items, we offended many of our loyal customers. Our intent was to avoid offending, but that’s just what we’ve done.

You told us we made a mistake. And, you weren’t shy about it. You wrote, you called and you took to social media to express your thoughts and feelings. You flat out told us we were wrong.

  We listened.

Today, we are putting all our Duck Dynasty products back in our stores.

And, we apologize for offending you.

We respect all individuals right to express their beliefs. We certainly did not mean to have anyone think different.

We sincerely hope you will continue to be part of our Cracker Barrel family. “

You can make a difference . Should you feel the desire to voice your feelings here is the contact page for the Cracker Barrel management . They made a mistake , but at least they had the willingness to admit it and try to make amends . That’s more than most PC organizations can do .

voters apologize for supporting Obama in 2008″

“A full-page Mitt Romney campaign ad in today’s Cedar Rapids Gazette takes the form of an open letter from 13 Iowans who say they voted for President Barack Obama in 2008 but regret their choice and won’t do so again in 2012.

The letter is phrased as an apology, and lays out a case for why Romney, the Republican nominee is a better choice this time around.”

Sure…move along now , nothing to see here .

” CNN has apologized for what it says “was a poor choice” of music to accompany a news story.
The story was about Fox News
contributor and former GOP VP
candidate Sarah Palin , who was visiting a local Chik-Fil-A fast food restaurant.

The song was “Stupid Girls,” by Pink. Some viewers noticed the correlation, and complained vocally.

The Hollywood Reporter received a statement from CNN apologizing for the incident, which it says was not intentional. “
