Sochi Security Report

Sochi SITREP Part 4

” People on the national news, Twitter and elsewhere are very focused on the borderline “third world” conditions to be found in Sochi, where the Winter Olympics begin tomorrow. Though unappetizing, the presence of dingy yellow tap water is not in our mind nearly as serious as the continued terror threat – though Putin’s government continues to downplay it. We hope bad plumbing and a scarcity of lightbulbs are all the athletes have to deal with, but we’ll see. There are more than “direct action threats” to worry about – remember, Sochi is closer to Chechnya than LA is to San Francisco, and those Jihadis have a proven track record for murderous efficiency. Here’s the latest Sochi SITREP from Groz. Mad Duo

Sochi SITREP Pt 4

In the past week and a half we have witnessed a drastic shift in the operational tempo of both Russian Security Forces and the Islamic Caucasus Emirate.  The series of dramatic counter terror operations by the Russians have ground to a halt.  ICE Jihadis have seemingly ceased attacks in Dagestan.  Information or intelligence releases from the Russian government has also been scarce.  So what is happening in the so-called “Ring of Steel” and the Caucasus region as a whole?  Have the Russian Security Services annihilated ICE, as Vladimir Putin hailed in his New Year speech?  Were Dmitry Medvedev’s statements on Olympic Security in contrast to that of the West correct?  Let us begin our analysis of the situation – the reason for the lack of action in the last week is much more sinister than any of these assumptions.

Significant Events in the Past Week

The Russian National Anti-terror Committee or (NAK) has finally released positive identification of the Volgograd suicide bombers.  The two bombers were identified as Asker Samdov and Suleyman Magomedov.  NAK also stated that the two had operated out of Buynaksk, and that two accomplices had also been arrested in Dagestan.  Russian immigration officials also shed light on the arrests of over a dozen Al Qaeda or AQ linked terror suspects in the last few months, including an Egyptian AQ member in October, and fifteen members of At Takfir Wal Hijra (an AQ affiliate founded in Egypt) back in November.

The large number of foreign Jihadis coming into Russia does not bode well for the Olympic security situation. It lends authenticity to Doku Umarov’s calls for Jihadis to converge on Sochi.  The names of more potential Black Widow suicide bombers and their support elements have  also been released.  These individuals include Jhannet Tsakhaeva from Dagestan, Oksana Aslanova from Turkmenistan, and two males suspects named Ruslan Saufutdinov and Murad Musaev.  This press release will surely add to the hysteria of Black Widow attacks in the Western Media. “

Boston Bombings 2 Weeks Later – What We Do and Still Don’t Know

” Previously, we brought you reports on the Boston Marathon bombings investigation and details into the lives of the suspects, first in The Lives of the Boston Bombers: What We Do and Don’t Know and then in a follow-up,New Developments in the Boston Marathon Bombings Case.

As the investigation continues two weeks after the bombings, several US officials have been questioning the parents of the suspects overseas.  The FBI is also investigating, both in the US and overseas, to determine whether or not the suspects received any training that may have aided in the attack.  Authorities have said that, so far, there has been no evidence to indicate that the bombings were linked to any major groups.  But they continue to probe for any evidence that might indicate otherwise.”

Obama’s Herd Control

” Obama’s herd control is a masterpiece. He already can lie and have millions believe him. For those who do not follow him or are slow to worship him other tactics are necessary. Chaos has escalated each day after Obama was first elected. Tragedies have increased in America and the end is nowhere in sight. Some have already blamed Chechnya or Russia for the Boston bombings as though all Muslims are that unified. It is doubtful the Chechens want to cause trouble in the US especially since Obama is doing such a good job there.

Americans think they got the killers and know who’s to blame and who to kill next because the TV told them so. The TV must be true they say. Is TV their God now in the USA? The US propaganda machine has the upper hand since few Americans are willing to get the truth from other countries and even fewer know where to get it. This allows the media to report whatever they want as fact.  The US government can freely kill its’ own people. Rather, they can allow innocent Americans to be killed. As I wrote in my article, “Missing the Target USA“, “Massacres to herd the masses to accept gun control. It is just the beginning. The massacre of the innocents. Real or not they have their purpose.” “

Coexist Mercedes Driver Spared Because He Wasn’t An American

Carjacked Mercedes

” I think we can safely stow the theory that this was about Chechnya in the attic trunk right next to Patriot’s Day and gun control. The Tsarnaev terrorists had set out to kill Americans.

The victim told police he was driven to a Shell Gas Station on Memorial Drive in Watertown. Inside the car, the brothers “declared to [the victim] that they were the Boston Marathon bombers and would not kill him because he wasn’t American,” the report said.”

The Lives of the Boston Bombers: What We Do and Don’t Know

” After a nation watched in suspense as events unfolded this week surrounding the Boston Marathon bombings and the ensuing manhunt for the suspects, we now await the details in our quest to understand “why.”

Tamerlan Tsarnaev was shot and killed Friday in a confrontation with police in the early morning hours. Younger brother Dzhokhar Tsarnaev fled, prompting a manhunt that finally ended Saturday after “suspect #2” was found injured and hiding in a boat behind a residence in Watertown, Massachusetts.  Dzhokhar remains in a hospital while the nation awaits what is expected to be an arrest.

The week proved to be a difficult one for collecting information, as coverage was frequently erroneous, a problem only exacerbated by the viral nature of social media.  What remains in the wake of that coverage is a sea of assorted facts and fictionsmistaken identitiesmisquotes and bad news decisions, and even the remnants of hoaxes.

In trying to parse through to the facts, what do we know about the suspected Boston bombers?”

An Open Letter To Liberals

” Dear Liberals,

I wanted to send along my condolences in regards to the rough week you guys have had.

Now that the Boston Marathon bombers have been officially identified as Muslim terrorists, I can only imagine how heartbroken you must be. Hell – I wouldn’t be surprised if Tingles Matthews is on 24-hour suicide watch. Then, you have the morbidly-obese Michael Moore, who immediately speculated that the bombers were “white right-wingers,” now pathetically claiming via Twitter that he was “right.” (Seems as if he missed the part about the killers being radicalized Chechen Muslims.)

I’m sure it must also be rough for you guys to read about the horrific testimony and see the grisly images coming out of the Philadelphia abortionist’s murder trial. Not very good for the cause, is it? Talk about being caught between a rock and a hard place; your media refuses to cover the story in its effort to protect abortion at all costs – while it continues to draw an ever-increasing amount of criticism for doing so. I mean, it’s getting so bad that even liberal commentators are pointing out the hypocrisy. Too bad Gosnell didn’t kill all those babies with an AR-15, huh? How awesome would that have been? ”

President Obama Coldly Reads From Script: Chapter Closes On Boston ‘Tragedy’

” What the president didn’t say speaks volumes. Delivering his lines coldly from a script, Obama made the following self-contradictory statement:

Obviously, tonight there are still many unanswered questions.  Among them, why did young men who grew up and studied here, as part of our communities and our country, resort to such violence?  How did they plan and carry out these attacks, and did they receive any help?  The families of those killed so senselessly deserve answers.

This dastardly act was not ‘senseless’ — it appears to be motivated by the anti-American agenda of apparently sane, well-to-do jihadists from Chechnya. It is a vicious attack, yes. It is a tragedy, fine. But more importantly, it is another jihad-inspired terrorist attack on U.S. soil.

This narrative is inconvenient for the administration and runs directly counter to left-wing explanations for terrorism. Third world terrorists are supposed to be motivated by ‘relative deprivation’ or ‘class disparity.’ Obviously, that’s not the case for these upper class bombing suspects.

Foreign terrorists who strike the nation are supposed to be upset about America attacking their countries and wronging their peoples. Again, these men of Chechen ancestry would more logically attack Russia, rather than the U.S. — which never invaded Chechnya.

Like we saw with the Benghazi terrorist siege, the president is restrained when calling actual terrorism — “terrorism”; meanwhile, ‘terrorism’ language is reflexively invoked to describe those Republicans who want a balanced budget and tea party activists who want to limit our national debt. Tea party ‘terrorists,’ and ‘hostage’-takers are epithets sputtered out by Democrats without thinking or blinking.”

Boston Bomber Could Have Been Deported After 2009 Arrest

” One of the Chechen terrorists who carried out the Boston Marathon bombings could have been deported years ago after a criminal arrest and/or conviction and the other was granted American citizenship on the 11th anniversary of the worst terrorist attack on U.S. soil.

Tamerlan Tsarnaev, the 26-year-old killed in a wild shootout with police, was a legal U.S. resident who nevertheless could have been removed from the country after a 2009 domestic violence arrest and conviction, according to a Judicial Watch source. That means the Obama administration missed an opportunity to deport Tsarnaev but evidently didn’t feel he represented a big enough threat.

Other reporting confirms Tsarnaev’s arrest for domestic violence but we’re seeking confirmation of a conviction. Nevertheless he would have been subject to removal for the arrest itself.

Years before these Chechen terrorists carried out the Boston Marathon bombings Judicial Watch uncovered critical intelligence documents detailing al Qaeda’s activities in Chechnya, including the creation of a 1995 camp—ordered by Osama bin Laden—to train “international terrorists” to carry out plots against Americans and westerners.”

Second Boston Bombing Suspect Taken Into Custody

” At about 10:30 p.m., authorities said, the two shot and killed MIT Police officer Sean Collier, 26, as Collier sat in his cruiser. It was unclear what triggered that shooting: authorities said surveillance video appears to show the two approaching Collier and killing him without warning.

After that, the men allegedly carjacked a Mercedes sport utility vehicle, and took the driver with them. At least one brother told the carjacked driver that they were the marathon bombers. They forced the driver to stop at several bank machines, and took $800 that he withdrew. After a few minutes, the man was left behind at a gas station, unharmed. It was unclear if he escaped, or was let go.

From there, the brothers drove about three miles, throwing explosives out the window at police. In Watertown, they engaged in a shootout with police, in which at least 200 rounds were fired.

Authorities said that Tamarlan Tsarnaev left the car at one point, and attempted to throw an explosive at officers. The device, however, went off in his hand. Police then tackled the wounded suspect in the street. Then, authorities said, Dzhokhar Tsarnaev–still behind the wheel of a car, swerved at the officers in an effort to hit them.

The officers dodged. Tamerlan did not. He was dragged under the car, and later died at a Boston hospital. In the same confrontation, a Boston Transit police officer was also shot and wounded. Officials later identified the officer as Richard H. Donahue, 33, who was treated at Mt. Auburn Hospital and released.

Dzhokhar Tsarnaev escaped. Police later conceded that there were not enough officers to establish a perimeter. The teenager is believed to have fled on foot: police found a small blood trail, indicating he was injured.

Then he vanished.”

Bombing Suspects’ Uncle: They Do Not Deserve To Live On This Earth

” The uncle of the two men suspected in the Boston Marathon bombings says they had lived together in Cambridge for about a decade.

WBZ-TV spoke with the suspects’ uncle, Ruslan Tsarni.

He described Tamerlan as a “loser.”

Tsarni was shocked when he was informed of the unfolding situation that left Tamerlan Tsarnaev dead in a shootout.

“He deserved his. He absolutely deserved his,” Tsarni said. “They do not deserve to live on this earth.” “

The Stories Of 2 Brothers Suspected In Bombing

” In May of 2011, Dzhokhar A. Tsarnaev, then a senior at a prestigious high school, was awarded a $2,500 scholarship from the city of Cambridge, Mass., to pursue higher education. Now, Tsarnaev is on the run, described as “armed and dangerous” and suspected of the Boston Marathon bombing.

Two brothers, one now dead, one alive and at large. After hours of only grainy images of two men in baseball caps to go on, a portrait gradually started emerging Friday of the men suspected in the attack.

Tsarnaev, 19, and his older brother, Tamerlan, who was killed during a violent night in Cambridge, had been living together on Norfolk Street in Cambridge. An uncle, Ruslan Tsarni of Montgomery Village, Md., told The Associated Press that the men lived together near Boston and have been in the United States for about a decade. They came from the Russian region near Chechnya, which has been plagued by an Islamic insurgency stemming from separatist wars.

Dzhokhar Tsarnaev’s page on the Russian social networking site Vkontakte says he attended Cambridge Rindge and Latin School, graduating in 2011, the year he won the scholarship, which was celebrated with a reception at City Hall, according to a news release issued at the time. Before moving to the United States, he attended School No. 1 in Makhachkala, the capital of Dagestan, a predominantly Muslim republic in Russia’s North Caucasus that has become an epicenter of the Islamic insurgency that spilled over from Chechnya. On the site, he describes himself as speaking Chechen as well as English and Russian. His world view is described as “Islam” and he says his personal goal is “career and money.” “

Boston Shut Down As One Bombing Suspect Dead, One On The Run

One Boston marathon bombing suspect is dead and one is on the run after a morning shootout with police.

” Two suspects in the Boston Marathon bombing killed an MIT police officer, injured a transit officer in a firefight and threw explosive devices at police during their getaway attempt in a long night of violence that left one of them dead and another still at large Friday, authorities said as the manhunt intensified for a young man described as a dangerous terrorist.

In Boston, still on edge over the attack on the marathon, and its western suburbs, authorities suspended mass transit and urged people to stay indoors as they searched for a man seen wearing a white baseball cap on surveillance footage from Monday’s deadly bombing at the marathon finish line.

The suspects were identified to The Associated Press as coming from the Russian region near Chechnya, which has been plagued by an Islamic insurgency stemming from separatist wars. A law enforcement intelligence bulletin obtained by the AP identified the surviving bomb suspect as Dzhokhar A. Tsarnaev, a 19-year-old who had been living in Cambridge, just outside Boston, and said he “may be armed and dangerous.”

CNN is reporting that the two suspects are brothers. NBC is reporting that 26-year-old Tamerlan Tzarnaev is the suspect who was killed.”

MSNBC: Fugitive Is Djhokar Tsarnaez

” One suspect in the Boston Marathon bombings is dead after a violent stand-off with police in Massachusetts, and another–his 19-year-old brother– is still at large. A manhunt for the second suspect, who appeared in a white hat in photos released by the FBI, is ongoing in nearby Watertown, Mass. The fugitive is  Dzhokar Tsarnaev, a resident of Cambridge, Mass. He has a Massachusetts driver’s license. Authorities say the Tsarnaev  brothers lived in Cambridge but were not students. Initial reports indicate the brothers may be Chechens who were legal permanent residents of the United States, but it was not immediately clear.

As authorities pieced together the chronology hours later, it appeared that the MIT officer had been killed; then two men had stolen a car at gunpoint (the driver was later released unharmed). Police then pursued the vehicle into Watertown, engaging in a battle with police using gunfire and explosive devices.  One of the suspects was killed, the dead suspect reported by law enforcement authorities as the man in the black hat in the FBI photos released Thursday from the marathon bombings.

The suspect who was killed was found wearing explosives strapped to his chest.”
