Local media has since reported that up to 19 are dead, but according to China’s state broadcaster CCTV, the death toll has risen to 21.

Chief Of Police Apologizes After Officer Uses Taser 76-Year-Old Man

” At 76-years-old, Pete Vasquez of Victoria stands just 5-foot-5 and weighs 145 pounds. Now, Vasquez, a father of five and grandfather to 20 children, is at the center of a police dash cam video that is causing outrage.

The video shows officer Nathanial Robinson of the Victoria Police Department arresting Vasquez last Thursday morning. But in the process, Robinson suddenly throws Vasquez onto the hood of his police car, pulls him to the ground and uses a Taser on him.

Vasquez said the officer acted more like a pit bull than an officer of the law.

” It sickens me,” Larry Urich said.

Urich watched the entire event unfold from just a few feet away in front of the Adams Auto Mart in Victoria. He said the young officer was questioning Vasquez about an expired inspection sticker on the back of a car that he was dropping off at the dealership.

But Urich said when Vasquez tried to explain to the officer that it was a dealer’s car with special dealer’s plates and did not require a current inspection sticker, the officer got angry, grabbed Vasquez by the arm and started to cuff him.”

This Mysterious, Jaw-Dropping “Celestial Event” Is Like Nothing You’ve Ever Seen

” A sudden flash of light on a dark roadway over the Sverdlovsk region in Russia on November 14 at about 5:40 pm was captured on a motorist’s dash-camera.  The mysterious red and yellow glow suddenly appeared in the sky for about 14 seconds and then faded away.  There is no confirmation of the source of this celestial event.

Some local residents have suggested that it was a meteor similar to the one that fell in the Chelyabinsk region in February 2013, which exploded about 18 miles above the earth’s surface, causing damage to thousands of buildings and injury to 1,500 people from broken windows.  No damage or injuries have been reported. “

Officer Caught On Dashcam: “Go Ahead. Call The Cops. They Can’t Un-Rape You.”

” In disgusting dashcam footage uploaded to YouTube on Thursday, two Austin Police Officers, Michael Castillo and Mark Lytle, are heard bragging about how important they are, then whistling at a woman and saying “Go ahead. Call the cops. They can’t unrape you.” while investigating a fender bender on May 24.

An APD spokesperson stated they were unaware of the video until they were contacted by local station KXAN, providing them with this comment-

Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention. The attitude and commentary depicted within this video are not consistent with the level of professionalism we expect of our officers and does not represent the values of the Austin Police Department.

On Friday, the department confirmed the validity of the video, which was released by a lawyer who stumbled upon it as he was working on a case related to the car accident, and issued a statement which read-

The Austin Police Department has validated the video/audio publicly released pursuant to the Texas Open Records Act. The officers in the video/audio have been identified as Austin Police officers. Upon learning of the video’s contents, the Department immediately launched an internal investigation. The investigation will include a comprehensive audit of the involved officers’ contacts with victims of sexual assault to ensure the actions taken during the contacts meet the expectations of the Department, the public and most importantly, the victims. Upon conclusion of the investigation, the Department will take appropriate corrective action.”

(FULL) Real Life Hero Caught On Video Hero Truck Driver Saves Family From Burning Car

Ignore the time stamp on the video . It is incorrect . This rescue by bystanders took place on August 11th on I-10 outside of Biloxi , Mississippi . Trucker David Fredericksen , whose dashcam provided the video , leapt into action and rescued the driver and her one-year old grandchild moments before the car exploded .

Miami Cop Fearing Termination after Altercation With Internal Affairs Lieutenant He Pulled Over

” A Miami police officer pulled a car over for speeding last month, which turned out to be a plainclothes internal affairs lieutenant who shoved the door open on the officer after refusing to provide his drivers license, leading to a struggle on the side of the road that was caught on camera.

As the two were on the ground wresting, another three Miami cops who just happened to be in the area pulled up and piled on the screaming driver– only to pull off when they realized the man at the bottom was an internal affairs lieutenant from their own department.

That was when the officer Marcel Jackson, the cop who initiated the stop, was sent to his patrol car and internal affairs Lieutenant David Ramras assumed control of the situation.

Realizing the outranking officer with more than two decades of seniority over him was going to turn him into the aggressor, Jackson pulled out his cell phone and began taking photos of the officers that began arriving.

But then a cop ordered him to stop. And another cop later ordered him to delete the photos.

However, unknowing to the other officers at the time, Jackson had video recorded the entire incident with his GoPro camera, which he had attached to his dash, but shoved in between seat after realizing they were turning against him, keeping it recording to capture the ensuing conversations. The department does not use dash or body cams, so it’s not something they would expect.”

Remembering Sam And Asking Why

” Samantha Ramsey leaned over to her former high school classmate and said, “We’re best friends and always will be.” Those would be the last words Ramsey would tell her longtime friend Amanda Johnson.

An hour later, Ramsey, 19, of Covington was shot and killed by a Boone County Sheriff’s deputy early Saturday in a chaotic scene. Deputies were responding as dozens of young people were trying to leave a field party in the 6000 block of River Road.

Johnson was one of about 160 people who blocked River Road just west of Tanner Road for about an hour Sunday night as they gathered to remember their Ramsey, whom they knew by her childhood nickname, Sam.”

This young lady was killed by a deputy at a block party and whose only “crime” seems to have been panic .

” Ramsey died at St. Elizabeth Healthcare Florence after suffering four gunshot wounds. Authorities said Boone County Sheriff’s Deputy Tyler Brockman discharged his weapon through the windshield of Ramsey’s car after she accelerated the vehicle instead of stopping as ordered.

Deputies said the vehicle struck Brockman, who landed on the hood of the car, but witness Chelsey Pendleton, 20, of Ludlow disputes that.

Pendleton, who was a backseat passenger in Ramsey’s car, said the deputy jumped on the hood from the side of the car.

” The cop was in the wrong,” she said. “I was there. I was in the back seat. That was unnecessary force. He had no right to do that.”

Pendleton also disputed deputies’ claims that Ramsey accelerated her vehicle.

” That was dead body weight on the gas pedal after she was shot,” Pendleton said.”

Video Catches Fort Gibson Officer Stabbed By Woman With Scissors

” Video caught a Fort Gibson police officer making a traffic stop, get stabbed by a woman walking by with a pair of scissors.

Officers like Brent Maddocks say there’s no such thing as a routine traffic stop. Tuesday night, Maddocks stopped an SUV to check for an expired tag. He was going through the normal checks of the Jeep when the driver yelled at the officer.

” At first it just felt like somebody hit me,” Maddocks said.

It turned out to be woman on a smoke break outside a nearby warehouse. The woman came up behind Maddocks with scissors, and he was forced to pull out his gun.”

The officer , showing remarkable restraint , courage and concern for the family in the stopped vehicle instead opted to deploy his Taser and subdued the crazed woman without resort to deadly force .

Bravo Officer Maddocks you are to be commended for your refusal to escalate the violence even though that goes against the grain of your fellow boys in blue as WJR points out:

” Many see his quick-thinking, which helped save his and other lives, as a positive conclusion to the incident – especially as accusations of excessive force by police officers seem to appear on a daily basis.

Still, the conversation among officers themselves is largely divided.

PoliceOne.com, which allows law enforcement professionals to opine on relevant issues, displayed dozens of comments – many of which chastised Maddocks for using less-than-lethal force.

Let’s hope some idiot wearing brass does not commend him for this and leads the public into believing this was hoe [sic] we handle such incidents,” one commenter wrote.

“ Not second guessing,” another stated, “but wish he had shot her. How long before she’s out of jail looking for her next opportunity to hurt or kill a cop.” “

Statements like these just prove to the citizenry that the cops are to be feared , not respected . The culture of militancy being bred into our law enforcement personnel is going to turn out very badly for very many people .

Dashcam Footage Released Of 70 Year Old Man Shot Over Expired License Plate

Cane shooting

” The dashcam footage has been released of an incident that led to an innocent 70 year old man being put in critical condition after being shot at several times by a York County Sheriff’s Deputy.

Bobby Canipe went to reach for his cane during a traffic stop. Deputy Terrence Knox thought he was reaching for a rifle, apparently couldn’t verbally warn the man, or fire a warning shot, and out of fear for his life fired several shots at the man and hitting him.

Apparently shooting a 70 year old man, reaching for a cane in the back of a pickup truck, is appropriate use of force as Knox felt an imminent threat to his life.”

Exclusive: Dashcam Video Clears NJ Man

” The tale of the police dashcam video has now helped clear a Bloomfield, New Jersey man who faced a multitude of criminal charges, including eluding police and assault.

Investigative Reporter Sarah Wallace obtained the dashcam tapes, and has spoken exclusively with the 30-year old DJ who was looking at years in prison.

It was quite a turnabout, all the criminal charges against Marcus Jeter have been dismissed, and two Bloomfield police officers have been indicted for falsifying reports, and one of them, for assault.

A third pleaded guilty early on to tampering. It’s all thanks to those dashcam tapes. It’s the video that prosecutors say they never saw when the pursued criminal charges against 30 year-old Marcus Jeter . In the video, his hands were in the air. He was charged with eluding police, resisting arrest and assault. One officer in the video can be seen throwing repeated punches.

Sarah Wallace: “It this tape hadn’t surfaced?”
Marcus: “I’d be in jail.”

Yet another case of the police investigating themselves and , even when confronted with overwhelming video evidence to the contrary , concluding that the officers involved acted properly .

Woman Goes On Meth Fueled Joy Ride In Stolen Police Cruiser

Meth Head Woman Stolen Cop Car

” Tara Elizabeth Axmaker, high on meth, stabbed a man in the back in the wee hours of March 15, 2013, at a Mulino-area home.

When Clackamas County deputies arrived, they found the bloody victim but no Axmaker.

As deputies scoured the crime scene, Axmaker climbed behind the wheel of a responding deputy’s patrol car and led the cops on a “Dukes of Hazzard” pursuit down back roads and around blind curves.

The chase, and Axmaker’s expletive-filled running commentary, was captured on the patrol car’s video cameras and on police radio.

She drove without headlights at speeds that hit 121 mph, finally driving off Oregon 213 as she careened toward Molalla.

Miraculously, no one was injured as Axmaker meandered into the oncoming traffic lane, ignored stop signs and evaded her pursuers.

The Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office released the video this week in response to a public records request submitted in October by The Oregonian.

Axmaker pleaded guilty Oct. 15 in Clackamas County Circuit Court to first-degree assault for the attack and to aggravated theft and attempting to elude police. She was sentenced to 10 years in prison.

Throughout the 11-minute ride, Axmaker can be heard on singing, swearing and carrying on an incoherent monologue. The audio is sometimes muffled, because Axmaker was sitting on the microphone.

“We’re on a high-speed chase (expletive),” she said as she began her misadventure.”

RAW] Hero Cop Saves Man From Burning Car: Cape May Police Officer Scott Krissinger, New Jersey

” ‘A true hero’: Dramatic moment cop pulls unconscious driver from burning car and then runs back to save more people.

A New Jersey police officer is being hailed a ‘true hero’ after he ran towards a burning car and pulled out a man trapped inside and dragged him to safety.

Cape May Police Officer Scott Krissinger, 27, saw the burning truck on Monday night on Sunset Boulevard in West Cape May.

He pulled the unconscious driver, Gerald Ferrill, 61, of Mays Landing, out of the car and then went back again to see if there was anyone in the passenger seat.

The incredible rescue was caught on the police officer’s patrol car dash cam.

‘  He didn’t hesitate,’ Cape May Police Captain Rob Sheehan told NBC10. ‘He’s a hero in every sense of the word and we’re very happy to have him as a member of our department.’

Krissinger, a seven-year-veteran, says he was just doing his job.

‘  I think any of the officers at the Cape May Police Department would’ve done the same thing,’

Krissinger said. ‘I truly do. It just happened to me.’

Ferrill was taken to the hospital where he is in critical, but stable condition.

Witnesses told police that he was driving his truck with a flat tire and strange sounds were coming from the engine area prior to the fire.

‘  I would have to think the driver didn’t have much longer to stay in that situation without facing serious bodily injury,’ Captain Sheehan said.

‘  We’re very proud of him, obviously. He’s a credit to law enforcement as a whole.’ “

While we here at YouViewed spend plenty of pixels highlighting the abhorrent , criminal behavior of police actions that come to light we would like to think that we are fair and do our best to also bring to our reader’s attention acts of selflessness and bravery committed by those who take their oath to “protect and serve” very seriously . To that end we must commend Officer Scott Krissinger of the Cape May police department for his bravery in saving a man’s life at considerable risk to his own .

As you watch the dashcam video you would do well to note that Officer Krissinger hesitated not even for a second in deciding the best course of action and leapt from his patrol vehicle and rushed to the aid of the unconscious motorist even as the smoke and flames poured forth from the engulfed vehicle . We wish you a heartfelt well done Officer Krissinger  . Thank you for your service and God bless you .

Dash Cam Shows Running Face Kick By Cop

Cop Kicks Driver

” Attorney Josh Lee is sold on dash cams. His client, Jerry Payne, was recently arrested by Miami, Oklahoma police officers. Two city police officers and one state trooper were involved.

Jerry Payne was stopped for a suspected DUI, although the distance involved makes it unclear how the officers were given reasonable suspicion. It is academic now, as the charges have been dropped against Payne, due to officer misconduct.

The police report was falsified in regards to the actions of Payne as well as the manner in which he sustained injuries to his face. The dash cam clearly show that Payne was pulled out of his vehicle by the trooper and then a running front kick to the face was delivered by one of the Miami police officers. Neither of those items were included as part of the report.”

This type of assault on private citizens by those sworn to protect us is becoming all too common . Thank goodness for the technology of cell phone cameras and police dashcams , without which none of this type of abuse would see the light of day . The question is though , have police always had such callous disregard for the civil rights of the public and the ubiquitous camera is now bringing it to the fore , or are the authorities getting more brutal as Leviathan grows ?

Police Officer Of The Year’s Heroics Caught On Dashcam

Penn Trooper

” As Trooper Timothy Strohmeyer and Trooper David Navaruk each sped to the scene, they passed Michael in his pick-up truck heading the opposite direction. He fired shots into both police cruisers, and broken glass flew into Navaruk’s face, according to the Pennsylvania State Police.

Still, Strohmeyer and Navaruk turned their cruisers around and gave chase, hoping to catch up with the fleeing suspect.

Meanwhile, trooper Kevin Campbell was approaching Michael from the opposite direction. Upon seeing Campbell, Michael “accelerated his truck and intentionally rammed Corporal Campbell’s patrol car head-on,” trapping Campbell inside his own cruiser, according to the state police.

Campbell was a sitting duck, while Strohmeyer’s cruiser can be seen on video approaching the collided cars. Hoping to divert attention away from his trapped colleague, Strohmeyer rammed his own cruiser into the back of Michael’s truck, state police said.

Strohmeyer’s plan worked. Michael can be seen on video charging Strohmeyer’s cruiser with his gun drawn and firing. Eight bullets ripped through Strohmeyer’s windshield, as shown in a photograph obtained by ABC News. Strohmeyer was hit several times in the chest and left wrist.

Strohmeyer was wearing a bulletproof vest and survived. Michael was killed by the troopers’ returning gunfire.

Exactly 10 months later, at its annual conference in Philadelphia, the International Association of Chiefs of Police bestowed its highest honor on Strohmeyer, naming him International Police Officer of the Year.”

We spend plenty of pixels highlighting the corrupt and criminal behavior of some law enforcement officers on this page but we are also fair enough to give credit where credit is due . One officer who deserves credit and honor is Pennsylvania state trooper Timothy Strohmeyer . Stohmeyer was recently honored as International Police Officer Of The Year and this video documents the incident that led up to that award .

Well done Trooper . A grateful populace gives thanks .
