Dems Blast Breitbart Over Pelosi Image

” The Democratic National Committee on Monday blasted Breitbart News for its portrayal of House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) in artwork promoting the launch of the company’s new California bureau.

DNC Chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D-Fla.) called on Republicans to condemn the artwork and urge the conservative outlet to remove the ad, which superimposes Pelosi’s head on a bikini-clad body, with her tongue hanging out.

“ If GOP leaders are serious about their rebrand, then both their elected and Party leadership should condemn this outrageous behavior, call on Breitbart News to immediately remove the ad, and not continue to use this website as a forum for their views,” Wasserman Schultz said in a statement.”

“Tasteless and undignified” is something the Dems know well . It’s not as though they have never played this game …

Michelle Bachmann has been a repeated target and we fail to recall any outrage from the Left in this or any other case regarding her treatment , see below

And of course no woman has had more abuse heaped on her by the “mainstream” media than Sarah Palin and again the Progressive outrage was nowhere to be found …

The silence was is deafening whenever liberal fav Bill Maher opens his trap to display his ignorance with some sexist diatribe or other , which happens pretty much monthly .

For a truly comprehensive accounting of the culture of hate engendered by the Left over the past decade and a half you cannot beat this article from Michelle Malkin:

” The progressive climate of hate: A comprehensive illustrated primer in 8 parts:

V. LEFT-WING MOB HATE — campus, anti-war radicals, ACORN, eco-extremists, & unions
VIII. HATE: CRIMES — the ever-growing Unhinged Mugshot Collection”

Are Democrats In Denial About Obamacare’s Midterm Consequences?

Dem's 2014 Campaign Slogan

”  Democratic leaders claim the bungled launch of Obamacare is just the latest news sensation — a media-stirred tempest that looks in the heat of the moment like it could upend the midterm election, but ends up fizzling well before voters head to the polls.

Some party strategists say they’re in denial.

House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) said at a forum hosted by BuzzFeed recently that the rollout won’t “hurt us in 2014,” adding that “we’re proud” of the law. Democratic National Committee Chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz, in a recent appearance on CNN, went so far as to assert that Obamacare would be “an advantage” for Democratic candidates next year.

“  Democrats will run on the Affordable Care Act and win,” she has also told reporters.

The White House, meanwhile, has come across as equally dismissive of Obamacare’s consequences for 2014.

“The fact is that [the president] is focused on delivering the access to quality and affordable health insurance to the American people that the Affordable Care Act promises. He’s not concerned about the politics of that,” White House press secretary Jay Carney recently said.”

Denial ? What denial ?

” While Democrats have attacked Republicans for allegedly gerrymandering their way to a congressional majority in 2012, evidence suggests that Democrats may have behaved in precisely the same way. The Washington Free Beacon obtained records this Friday of emails sent between Democratic party officials suggesting that Florida had been deliberately gerrymandered along racial lines to maximize the chance of Democratic success in the state, possibly even with the approval of DNC Chairwoman Debbie Wasserman-Schultz.

The Free Beacon reports:

“For several months the Florida Democratic Party has engaged in a legal fight over redistricting in Florida,” Florida Democratic chair Rod Smith wrote to a representative of the Teamsters Union in March 2012. “We believe that Florida can be turned from red to blue if we are successful in our efforts.” “

” Speaking at a hearing of the House Legislative Branch Appropriations Subcommittee, Wasserman Schultz worried that prices of meals in House restaurants are getting so high that aides are being “priced out” of a good meal.

At the carry-out cafe in the Cannon Office Building, where Wasserman Schultz has her office, you can get an 8oz bowl of Ham and Bean soup for $2. You can buy gourmet sandwiches and wraps for around $5. Both of these are cheaper than I can get at delis down the street from my house.

Her aides could walk across the street to the Longworth Building, which has a large sit-down cafeteria. Today, it is featuring a roasted stuffed Chicken, with asparagus and mashed potatoes, for around $7. Or, one could opt for a heaping 12oz bowl of Chicken Chili for $3.

There is also the tried and true method enjoyed by millions of workers around the country: a brown-bag lunch.

Wasserman Schultz’s top aide earns around $160k a year. She pays two additional aides around $120k a year. She has five additional aides who earn between $60-100k a year. ”

Below is a list of the  taxpayer subsidized restaurants/cafeterias available to House members and their staffs …

The Dumbest Liberal Moments Ever

“A collection of liberal stupidity. Dumb and embarrassing comments by liberals such as Bill Clinton, Michael Moore, Joy Behar, Rosie O’Donnell, Debbie Wasserman Schultz, Hillary Clinton, Joe Biden, Maxine Waters, and more.”

Debbie Wasserman-Schultz: These new tax hikes on the rich are just the first step of “the balanced approach”

” Via Mediaite, “balanced approach” is Obama’s Orwellian term for selling tax hikes to the public as a condition of spending cuts even though there’s nothing remotely balanced about our fiscal problems. Spend 10 seconds looking at the graphs in Yuval Levin’s new post at the Corner. That’s the reality that the “balanced approach” pretends to address. As Levin said in another post today, “The fiscal trajectory of our welfare state is not sustainable, no matter how much taxes go up.”

But okay. The left’s new talking point, pushed by The One himself, is that they absolutely positively won’t negotiate over the debt ceiling. No one believes that, but fine. Supposedly, if the GOP wants spending cuts, the debt ceiling is off the table and the price will be additional revenue. One question: Where’s that new revenue coming from? I can’t figure it out. Neither can Megan McArdle:

For starters, there’s a matter of timing. President Obama just successfully raised taxes on the rich. Is he going to go back and do it again in a few months? I’m not sure about the optics here: while I think that a tax increase on the rich was popular and inevitable, I don’t think that Democrats will do well to position themselves as the party that does nothing but demand more tax increases, even on rich people. ”

Courtesy of PJmedia’s Bryan Preston we are treated to some highlights of Paul Ryan getting the best of some of the “best and brightest” in the  Obama cartel .

” The plagiarist Joe Biden doesn’t stand a chance.against Paul Ryan.

In a Congress full of peacocks and grifters, Rep. Paul Ryan is a patriot. We were told that Tim Geithner was the only man in America who could understand our fiscal crises, despite the fact that Geither failed to run Turbo Tax properly. Ryan overmatches Geithner in this
exchange, from February 2010.”

Ouch !

” Debbie Wasserman Schultz has spent days pounding Mitt Romney for keeping money in a Swiss bank account. She tweeted attacks on his “secret offshore” accounts slammed his “secretive investments ” on Fox News Sunday and just last night, she joined Rep. Donna Edwards in pushing the failed Democrat hashtag #WheresYourBank

  Disclosure forms reveal that
Democratic National Committee chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz, a member of Congress from Florida, previously held funds with investments in Swiss banks, foreign drug companies, and the state bank of India. This revelation comes mere days after the
Democratic chair attacked presumptive Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney for holding money in Swiss bank accounts in the past. “

” Just remember, guys: The Internal Revenue Service might be the best-equipped entity to administer the “penalty,” and the “penalty” might be assessed on your tax return, but the requirement to pay a “penalty” if you don’t buy health insurance is most definitively not a tax .

Speaking on CNN’s “The Situation Room with Wolf Blitzer,” Wasserman Schultz said
Monday, that the law should be enforced.by the federal government’s taxing arm
because “it’s simply a matter of ease in administration.” “
