Rob Schneider Tells Chris Stigall: We Are Sliding Very Fast Towards Fascism

” Chris Stigall spoke with comedian Rob Schneider on Talk Radio 1210 WPHT about the struggle comedians face in today’s current political environment.

Schneider struck on ominous tone when discussing the path he sees the country on.

“ Democracies don’t end well. We are sliding very fast towards fascism. It’s an ugly kind of thing. There’s this kind of mob mentality that we have to be careful of,” he said.

He believes comedians are pressured toward one side of the political spectrum.

“ There’s a polarization that’s happening…I do think you look can look at government and go, ‘Wow, it is out of control now,’ and if you do criticize or tend to be not directly along a liberal stand, you can get murdered,” Schneider commented.”

Bullied: 10 People Intimidated by the Democrat Party

” Check out these Democrats, journalists, and conservatives who have been pushed around by the Democrat Party and even the president in his “bully pulpit.” SHARE this to show you oppose bullying! “

6. MSNBC Guest Jon Alter

“There is a kind of threatening tone that, from time to time — not all the time — comes out of these guys,” [Jonathan] Alter said. He also said that future White House press secretary Robert Gibbs disinvited him from a dinner between Obama and the press corps over a dispute. “I was told ‘Don’t come,’ in a fairly abusive e-mail,” he said. “[It] made what Gene Sperling wrote [to Woodward] look like patty-cake.”

NY Counties Oppose SAFE

” This is the map we have so far of the counties that have opposed or have resolutions pending opposed to the NY unSAFE Act. We can now add Ulster to the list of counties opposed as I have just received word that their resolution passed 14-8 a short time ago. Let me know if this map has any mistakes. We’ll be updating it often.”

I Won’t Be Rushed

” Over the weekend, I was quoted in a New York Times magazine feature on the future of the GOP, for a project I’m spearheading to revamp party messaging. I, along with my colleagues in the project, discussed the ways in which we need to take the party back from the old guard, which has failed to adapt to a changing political and technological landscape, allowed undisciplined candidates to define our message and maligned the very groups of voters we’re hoping to attract.

In the piece, we talked about an injurious primary system that pushes candidates to lunge to the far right, and, conversely, the misguided efforts by establishment types to purge tea party conservatives from the movement. From candidate training to policy polishing, adopting new technologies to embracing new demographic realities, we acknowledged the hard work ahead for the GOP. It is important work, nonetheless.

There wasn’t anything earth-shattering in what I said, though you wouldn’t know it from looking at my Twitter timeline, which exploded in apoplexy when news of one quote in particular spread across conservative media. I’d very much like to explain the quote, and respond to my critics who, I think, prove an interesting point.”

Mikhail A Bakunin

” The right to unite freely and to separate freely is the first and most important of all political rights. “

Justice Antonin Scalia speaks out about the mandate .

” “You don’t interpret a penalty to be a pig. It can’t be a pig,” Scalia said. “What my dissent said … was simply that there is no way to regard this penalty as a tax. It simply does not bear that meaning. In order to save the constitutionality, you cannot give the text a meaning it will not bear.” “

What ever happened to ” Dissent is patriotic “ ?

“Jane Pitt, mother of actor Brad Pitt, has been scared into silence by the hate-filled, vulgar and even violent reaction to her public assertion that Barack Obama is “a liberal who supports the killing of unborn babies and same-sex marriage.”

Pitt has even been the subject of death threats following her letter to the editor of Missouri’s Springfield News-Leader in which she asserted failure to vote for Republican presumptive presidential candidate Mitt Romney constituted a vote for Obama . “

With all eyes on SCOTUS today we’ve deliberately remained silent . Not without opinion , but out of deference to the multitude of bloggers with legal backgrounds that can offer the public their expertise .

We are from the business world and as such can offer only common sense and a historical kind of sense as to our understanding of the Constitution , the Founders and their ideas of liberty .

That being said , our initial reaction to the Roberts Court’s finding was a feeling of being sold down the river . We are sorry to say that this post at Volokh Conspiracy merely serves to amplify the feeling that Roberts caved to media/political pressure .

Tax , Commerce , who cares what you call it ? A Mandate is a Mandate . Where does that fact that the citizens can be forced to BUY something fit into the concept of individual liberty ?

” Scalia’s dissent, at least on first quick perusal, reads like it was originally written as a majority opinion “

To the Left , truth is what they say it is . How ironic to have not one but two high profile cases of false impersonation at the same time .

Delicious .

What a difference a few years makes . While the traditional “gatekeepers” find their power , influence and profitability circling the bowl , the new media , embodied by the citizen journalist has donned the mantle of journalistic integrity and run with it .

To the benefit of us all .

Breitbart reports:

“MSNBC’s unofficial web-branch known as Politico, couldn’t move fast enough to dismiss our story about the possibility that as a grown adult, President Obama, or those around him, might have had faked his biography Elizabeth Warren-style. To Politico, of course, that’s not news. The backgrounds of private citizens supporting
Governor Romney, however, elicits all kinds of time, attention, manpower, and publicity from Politico’s wretched left-wingers.”

In the Left’s collective mind the only limits to acceptable behavior are what the tell us they are and so there will be no inquiry into their fellow travelers but even private citizens who dare to voice dissent are targeted for destruction .
When they have no cards they toss the table and cry foul . Since 2008 they have exhausted their race trump card and now fall back on the “politics of personal destruction” .

Reeks of desperation ….

Does anybody see anything wrong with this ? I’d call it attempted indoctrination . Is it any wonder the bulk of the ” stimulus” was directed towards the unions , teachers and progressive cronies ?
Is it any wonder it did no good ? You can’t stimulate growth by giving it all to the non-producing classes .

” Last Monday, a high school student in North Carolina engaged his social studies teacher in a heated debate about politics and the two leading presidential candidates. During the exchange, the teacher (an obvious Obama supporter) got very angry with the student and accused him of disrespecting the president. She even went so far as to tell the boy that he could be jailed for speaking ill of Obama.”
