Who’s Laughing Now Punks ?

“Here’s a sneak preview of next week’s cover, “One on One,” by Barry Blitt. “This image seemed like a proper response to the first Presidential debate,” says Blitt, “but I’m not sure I realized how hard it is to caricature furniture.” “

So now what about his  “college loans ” ?

his convention appearance was
‘mission accomplished’ “

” “President Obama is the greatest hoax ever perpetrated on the American people,” Eastwood told The Pine Cone this week. “Romney and Ryan would do a much better job running the country, and that’s what everybody needs to know. I may have irritated a lot of the lefties, but I was aiming for people in the middle.” ”

Read the whole thing. It is a wonderful interview in which Mr Eastwood opens up and recounts how the whole appearance evolved and how he feels on a variety of issues.

” The Brilliance of Clint’s Empty Chair”

” But the most transformative moment — in its way, the most redolent of the Tea Party
revolution — was Clint Eastwood’s
conversation with an empty chair in whichPresident Obama was not sitting.”

“What Eastwood did, with his extemporaneous air and unfilled chair, was to call bull**** on the increasingly untenable narrative that the Left has been weaving through all of the public institutions that it has spent decades infiltrating. He elevated to TV Land the shocking breach of
story line and etiquette that hit YouTube years ago when angry citizens shouted down their
Senators at town hall meetings.”

“” ‘When someone isn’t doing
the job, we’ve got to let him go’

“Clint Eastwood conducted a comical question- and-answer session with an empty chair —
which stood in for President Obama — at the Republican National Convention as he explained why he thinks “it’s time for somebody else to come and fix the problem.” “We own this country . . . We’re the best and we
should not ever forget that,” Eastwood said of the United States and Obama, before appealing
to voters of all political persuasions. “When someone isn’t doing the job, we’ve got to let [him] go.”

Laughter ensued …

” “What do you want me to tell Romney?” Eastwood said, looking at the Obama chair. “I can’t tell him to do that. He can’t do that to
himself. You’re absolutely crazy. You’re being as bad as Biden. Of course, we all know Biden is
the intellect of the Democratic Party. Kind of a grin with a body behind it.”
