“Which candidate is preferred by small business? Survey says…”

“If there’s one thing that Barack Obama and Mitt Romney can most certainly agree upon, it’s that small businesses are a fundamental building block of our nation’s economy. As both candidates are constantly intoning, the vast
majority of businesses in the United States are businesses with fewer than 500 workers, and
these are the major drivers of our economy — creating jobs, creating wealth, and leading the way in innovation and entrepreneurship. Both candidates, however, also claim to possess the proper prescriptions for helping small businesses to succeed and grow; so, according to the people actually running these businesses, who’s
policies would actually help them out the most? WaPo reports: “

Happy 100th birthday, Milton Friedman

” Just to take a few minutes to remember this humble yet mind-blowingly brilliant economist,
and as a demonstration of why we need more voices like his to help make freedom cool again, here are just a couple awesome op-eds and
videos for you reading/viewing pleasure. First, from Stephen Moore in the WSJ: “

Erika Johnsen on Ice-T’s common sense defense of the 2nd Amendment

” Huh. Quite a cogent argument from Ice-T , the self-described “godfather of gangsta rap,”
defending Americans’ gun rights following the shooting in Colorado on Friday.

“It’s legal in the United States,” the rapper said. “The right to bear arms is because that’s the last form of defense against tyranny. Not to hunt. It’s to protect yourself from the police.”

“And do you see any link between that and this sort of instance?” Guru-Murthy challenged.

“No. Not really,” Ice-T responded. “If somebody wants to kill people, they don’t need a gun to do it.”

“Makes it easier though, doesn’t it?” the host pushed back.

“Not really. You can strap explosives onyour body. They do that all the time.” “

” As President Obama is wont to remind us (no, but really — would anyone like to place bets on how many times we’ll hear about it again before November?), he gave the order that led to our amazing special forces taking out Osama bin
Laden. (‘Murika!) To hear President Obama & Friends tell the story, the president handled the situation beautifully, from the beginning when the intelligence started to come in and right on through all of the fallout — but it would appear
that some rather well-qualified Americans are of a somewhat different mind. Politicker reports
that Ryan Zinke, an ex-Navy SEAL of Team 6 and a current Montana state senator, has just launched a new political action committee:
Special Operations for America , a group to support “the election of Mitt Romney and like-minded candidates.” “

   Glad he’s been such a uniter , aren’t you ?

” “So, just in case some of your friends or neighbors or, ya know, Uncle Jim who’s a little stubborn and been watching Fox News and, ya know, he thinks that somehow I raised taxes. Let’s just be clear.
We’ve lowered taxes for middle class families since I came in office,” President Obama said at a campaign event in Virginia Beach, VA today. ”

And of course, when I say, “Everybody’s Most Hated News Network,” what I really mean is,
you know, The Most Watched News Network on Television for Ten Years Running. That’s why
such smug little “Faux News”-type, “bitter clingers”-esque comments just roll right off my back — the liberals can badmouth Fox and run
to their blatantly and unapologetically biased news sources all they like, but we know it’s just ’cause they wish they were as cool as us. Stick that in your pipe and smoke it. “

Erika Johnsen on the UN gun grab and Obama’s compliant attitude towards the attempt to subvert the Constitution through foreign intervention .

“As we’ve seen time and again , the United Nations is little more than an ineffective, morally
squishy, highly corrupted joke of an
international bureaucracy that in the long run has done hardly anything productive in stabilizing global affairs or promoting lasting
peace. Honestly, why do we contribute funding (and the lion’s share, at that!) to this globalist
boondoggle? “

Who’s Howard Dean ?

So ironic to hear the party of “President Fundraiser” bemoan the corrupting influence of money on our political system . LOL

“Former DNC chairman and governor of Vermont Howard Dean appeared on MSNBC this morning to bemoan the extent to which Gov. Walker was able to outspend his opponent in the Wisconsin recall. Really, now? Candidate Obama outspent John McCain’s campaign by one of the widest margins evah, but when you don’t get the outcome you want, all that darned money in politics is suddenly not okay?”
