Iraq: 150 Women Executed After Refusing To Marry ISIL Militants

” At least 150 women who refused to marry militants of the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant, or ISIL, were executed in the western Iraqi province of Al-Anbar, Iraq’s Ministry of Human Rights said.

“At least 150 females, including pregnant women, were executed in Fallujah by a militant named Abu Anas Al-Libi after they refused to accept jihad marriage,” the statement said. “Many families were also forced to migrate from the province’s northern town of Al-Wafa after hundreds of residents received death threats.”

But according to the “woman who would be king” we need to empathize with these barbarians and concentrate on the real “war on women” , that of republican’s persecution of women .

By all means , let’s try to understand these barbaric religious zealots Hillary … use your “smart power” … the countless innocent women and children of the Muslim world are sure to offer you their support …

Militants Seize Iraq’s Second-Largest City

” Gunmen seized Iraq’s second-largest city Tuesday as troops threw away their uniforms and abandoned their posts, officials said, in another blow to the authorities, who appear incapable of stopping militant advances.

Predominantly Sunni Muslim Mosul, 350 kilometres (220 miles) north of Baghdad, has long been a militant stronghold and one of the most dangerous areas in the country.”

” Capital of Nineveh province, it is the second city after Fallujah, west of the capital, that the government has lost this year.

” The city of Mosul is outside the control of the state and at the mercy of the militants,” an interior ministry official told AFP, saying soldiers had fled after removing their uniforms.

Adding that the gunmen were Sunni, he said they announced over loudspeakers that they had “come to liberate Mosul and would fight only those who attack them.”

Fewer Americans Think Obama Respected On World Stage

Trend: Americans' Perceptions of President Obama's World Standing

” For the first time, more Americans think President Barack Obama is not respected by other world leaders than believe he is. Americans’ opinions have shifted dramatically in the past year, after being relatively stable from 2010 to 2013.

The results are based on Gallup’s annual World Affairs poll, conducted Feb. 6-9. Although opinions about a president’s perceived world standing often track with his job approval rating, a majority of Americans still thought world leaders respected Obama in 2010 and 2011, when his job approval was similar to what it is now. Thus, the recent decline may be more tied to specific international matters from the past year, such as the revelation the U.S. was listening in on foreign leaders’ phone calls, the situation in Syria, increased tensions with Russia, and an uneasy relationship between Obama and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.”

All we can say is “What took so long?” The MSM has lost it’s mojo and can no longer keep the present administration’s incompetence under wraps . It’s about effing time . People are finally starting to pay attention . Too bad he gets another three years to continue the destruction of America .

UN: More Than 140,000 Iraqis Flee Anbar Violence

” A United Nations official says more than 140,000 Iraqis have fled parts of Anbar province over clashes between security forces and al-Qaida militants.”

” He added that more than 65,000 people fled the conflict in the cities of Ramadi and Fallujah just in the past week alone.”

Smart diplomacy … hmmm

From The Latest Commentary Magazine

” The situation in Iraq’s restive Western province of al-Anbar continues to deteriorate as al-Qaeda-affiliated radicals have now seized Fallujah and threaten to take more cities. Some analysts have been tempted to blame everyone from Prime Minister Maliki in Baghdad to President Obama in the White House—and certainly there is blame to go around—but ultimately that political blame should not cover the fact that sometimes the solution to terrorism rooted in ideology is not counterinsurgency strategy or winning hearts and minds, but rather killing those who embrace terror.”

Al-Qaeda-Linked Force Captures Fallujah Amid Rise In Violence In Iraq

All for nothing …

” A rejuvenated al-Qaeda-affiliated force asserted control over the western Iraqi city of Fallujah on Friday, raising its flag over government buildings and declaring an Islamic state in one of the most crucial areas that U.S. troops fought to pacify before withdrawing from Iraq two years ago.

The capture of Fallujah came amid an explosion of violence across the western desert province of Anbar in which local tribes, Iraqi security forces and al-Qaeda-affiliated militants have been fighting one another for days in a confusingly chaotic three-way war.”

U.S. Marine’s Documentary Recounts The Brutal Battle Of Fallujah

” It was the most brutal campaign since the battle of Hue City, Vietnam in 1968. The invasion of Fallujah, Iraq in 2004 was conducted by U.S. Marines, and it would take two major offensives to subdue the insurgent stronghold.

Garrett Anderson, a former radio operator with 1st Battalion, 3rd Marines, and Veteran of the second battle, turned the camera lens on his comrades to create an intimate portrait of the life they shared nearly 10 years ago.

Dubbed “The November War”, Anderson has set up a Kickstarter campaign to help fund the documentary’s production. The film’s premise revolves around 12 Marines from his unit who recount a gritty, tragic day of fighting on Nov. 22, 2004.”

Latest Hell For Ex-U.S. Marine Chained To bed In Mexican Jail

” Hammar and McDonough devised a plan: They’d buy a used motor home, load on the surfboards and drive from the Miami area to Costa Rica to find “someplace to be left alone, someplace far off the grid,” McDonough said.

They made it to only the Mexican border. Hammar is in a Matamoros prison, where he spends much of his time chained to a bed and facing death threats from gangsters. He’s off the grid, for sure, in walking distance of the U.S. border. But it’s more of a black hole than a place to heal a troubled soul.

The reason might seem ludicrous. Hammar took a six-decade-old shotgun into Mexico. The .410 bore Sears & Roebuck shotgun once belonged to his great-grandfather. The firearm had been handed down through the generations, and it had become almost a part of Hammar, suitable for shooting birds and rabbits.

But Mexican prosecutors who looked at the disassembled relic in the 1972 Winnebago motor home dismissed the U.S. registration papers Hammar had filled out. They charged him with a serious crime: possession of a weapon restricted for use to Mexico’s armed forces. “
