Gutfeld: ‘Knockout Game’ A Symptom Of Our Modern Decline

The crowd at The Five call much needed attention to the growing frequency of a brutal street fad called the “knockout game” or as it is increasingly being referred to , “polar bear hunting” . Over all we find it a very refreshing dose of sunshine on an otherwise deliberately media obscured act of sheer barbarism . For his part Gutfeld makes the obvious connection between the random acts of violence by these , mostly , young men against total strangers with the cheapening of society as a whole . He’s absolutely correct as anyone with half a mind and a data connection can see .
While overall crime has been decreasing for years , the crimes that do occur have taken on a much more brutal and yet casual manifestation and Mr Gutfeld puts forth the undeniable proposition that the callous disregard for human rights , liberty and plain old common decency exhibited by these present day trolls is a direct reflection of the mores (or lack of) within our society today .
The money quote of the clip however belongs to Bob Bechel , who , believe it or not takes the harshest line of the lot against these savages and actually uses the word barbaric . The rest of the cast and the theme in general , though , take a somewhat PC stance in tiptoeing around the issue of race , motivations and the fact that the victims are predominantly white and the perpetrators mostly black . Still worth a view for both Gutfeld’s moralizing and Bechel’s demands for retribution .
