The Armenian Genocide Explained

” The 100th anniversary of the massacre of Armenians under the Ottoman Empire will be commemorated on April 24, and Pope Francis recently referred to it officially as “the first genocide of the 20th century.”

The mass killings, which began in 1915, have long been a topic of controversy between Turkey and Armenia.

To Armenians, the slaughter is a seminal event in their shared history, and members of the community, including Kim Kardashian, are doing their best to draw attention to the estimated 1.5 million lives lost.

Turkey acknowledges that atrocities took place, although it maintains that the death toll was closer to 300,000 and rejects the term genocide entirely. By definition, the term genocide means a premeditated and systematic attempt to eradicate an ethnic, racial or religious group of people. Turkey argues that the deaths were an unfortunate part of a complicated war in which many Turkish lives were also lost.

But how did this violence come about?

The historic Kingdom of Armenia was the first nation to declare Christianity as its official religion. In the 15th century, it was progressively absorbed into the Muslim-ruled Ottoman Empire. Even though Armenians were granted few political or legal rights, they were allowed a degree of autonomy. Maintaining their religious and social identity, the Armenians thrived for centuries.”

Here are some facts regarding the start of 20th century Jihad:

The Armenian genocide was , as the Pope says the 20th century’s first genocide , but it was also the 20th century’s first instance of Jihad . The Armenians were Christians , the Turks were/are Muslims . Remember that as you read the rest .

Being Antigovernment Is The Logical Result Of Taking A Close Look At The State And Its Bloody Works

Death by government

” People suspicious of coercive power have been on the defensive recently—or, more accurately, their opponents want them to be on the defensive. The latest argument spouted by fans of a government potent enough to give you all you could want and give it to you good and hard is that any eyebrows raised at the prospect of such an expansive state are evidence of racism.

Don’t try to follow the logic; you might trip over the twists and turns it takes.

But here’s the honest truth: Not just skepticism toward state power, but a strong antigovernment sentiment, are natural and logical results of taking a close look at the state and its works—its bloody, heavy-handed works.

Let’s start with a number: 262 million. That’s the number of unarmed people the late Prof. R. J. Rummel estimated governments murdered in mass killings he termed “democide” during the 20th century. “This democide murdered 6 times more people than died in combat in all the foreign and internal wars of the century,” he wrote.

Unsurprisingly, the bloodiest body count was run up by totalitarian regimes, though authoritarians were busy stacking up the corpses, too, if in smaller piles. Democracies were also responsible for unjustifiable deaths, especially in subduing resistance in their colonial possessions (think: Belgian Congo) and in indiscriminate bombing of civilian targets during wars (think: Hiroshima), but to a far lesser degree than Communists, Nazis, and overdecorated generalissimos.

Rummel’s 1997 book, Power Kills, stated his case most strongly, but he nicely summarized the argument on his website:

It is true that democratic freedom is an engine of national and individual wealth and prosperity. Hardly known, however, is that freedom also saves millions of lives from famine, disease, war, collective violence, and democide (genocide and mass murder). That is, the more freedom, the greater the human security and the less the violence. Conversely, the more power governments have, the more human insecurity and violence. In short: to our realization that power impoverishes we must also add that power kills.”

Stalin Apologia

” Salon.com published a truly disgusting article on the supposed myths of communism. There are a lot of problems with it, but I’ll focus on this particularly revolting passage, which might seem literally true if you drop the context of what it suggests:

For one thing, a large number of the people killed under Soviet communism weren’t the kulaks everyone pretends to care about but themselves communists. Stalin, in his paranoid cruelty, not only had Russian revolutionary leaders assassinated and executed, but indeed exterminated entire communist parties. These people weren’t resisting having their property collectivized; they were committed to collectivizing property.

This is misdirection. It’s true that Stalin murdered so many people that in absolute terms “a large number” were communists, but in relative terms, they were a minority of his victims. Of course, Stalin’s murder of communists isn’t any more defensible than any other regime’s murder of communists, and it says something that so many regimes, from Maoist China to Ho Chi Minh’s Vietnam, slaughtered communists in sectarian crackdowns on political opponents.”

” Stalin did in fact focus on class enemies—”kulaks,” which basically means relatively wealthy peasants—and later in the 1930s had ethnic Poles and other minorities summarily shot by the hundreds of thousands. The first ethnic-based genocide in mid-20th century Europe was thus inaugurated by the Bolsheviks, not the Nazis.”

Obama-Backed Jihadists Posting The Names Of All Christians ‘Supposed To Be Killed’ Online

” Obama’s jihad in Syria. Instead of backing Christians and religious minorities, he supports the ongoing genocide in Syria.

The facts are validating everything that I (and a few brave colleagues) have been warning of for well over a year (the genocide of Christians and Alawites). So despite al Qaeda and the Muslim Brotherhood’s wholesale slaughter of Christians and Alawites, the mass beheadings in front of children, the cannibalism, etc., Obama continues to support, train and arm the jihadis with lethal weapons.

Ghastly.

MSNBC’s ‘Lean Forward’ Ad Unwittingly Alludes to Communist ‘Great Leap Forward,’ Which Killed Millions of Chinese

” MSNBC’s newest ad features weekend host Melissa Harris-Perry unwittingly — or at least one hopes– referencing the Communist Chinese economic program known as the “Great Leap Forward” which left an estimated 18-45 million Chinese dead. The 30-second ad featuring Ms. Perry is narrated as follows:

No fight began just in the years preceding victory.  The struggle for civil rights didn’t begin in the 1950s.  African-Americans had been demanding representation since the 1880s.  Women didn’t just start fighting for the vote in the 1920s.  That began at the founding of this country.  Immigrants to this country have been since its founding fighting for safe and legal status. It’s a change in the political climate that creates the moment for that great leap forward.  The time has come.   [See video after jump.  MP3 audio here.]”

“Universal Background Checks” Could Unjustly Deny Millions Of People The Right To Armed Self-Defense

” Second Amendment supporters historically have opposed gun registration, fearing that it could ultimately lead to confiscation, something that has actually happened in places such as Canada, Great Britain, Australia, California, and New York City. While wholesale disarmament would be clearly unconstitutional in this country, confiscation of guns that legislators arbitrarily deem unnecessary or excessively dangerous is easier to imagine, especially given Obama’s support for a new, stricter ban on “assault weapons.”

Perhaps fear of confiscation seems paranoid to you. But consider what would happen if the federal government merely enforced existing law through expanded background checks and improved records—another step nearly everyone seems to think is self-evidently sensible. Such a crackdown would reveal the folly of current restrictions, which prohibit gun ownership by several absurdly broad categories of people under the threat of a five-year prison term.

One disqualifier is a felony record, whether or not the offense involved violence or even a victim. It is doubtful that check kiters, marijuana growers, or unauthorized farm workers (another banned category) are substantially more likely to go on a shooting rampage than the average person.

Federal law also bars “an unlawful user of…any controlled substance” from owning a gun. Think about that for a minute. If you smoke pot or use a relative’s Vicodin or Xanax, you have no right to keep and bear arms. Survey data indicate that nearly 40 million Americans have used “illicit drugs” in the last year, and the true number is probably higher, since people may be reluctant to admit illegal behavior even when their answers are confidential. “

The History of Gun Control

What Happens When Governments Disarm Their Citizens?

-In 1929, the Soviet Union established gun control. >From 1929 to 1953, about 20 million dissidents, unable to defend themselves, were rounded up and exterminated
-In 1911, Turkey established gun control. From 1915 to 1917, 1.5 million Armenians, unable to defend themselves, were rounded up and exterminated.
-Germany established gun control in 1938 and from 1939 to 1945, a total of 13 million Jews and others who were unable to defend themselves were rounded up and exterminated.
-China established gun control in 1935. From 1948 to 1952, 20 million political dissidents, unable to defend themselves were rounded up and exterminated
-Guatemala established gun control in 1964. From 1964 to 1981, 100,000 Mayan Indians, unable to defend themselves, were rounded up and exterminated.
-Uganda established gun control in 1970. From 1971 to 1979, 300,000 Christians, unable to defend themselves, were rounded up and exterminated.
-Cambodia established gun control in 1956. From 1975 to 1977, one million educated people, unable to defend themselves, were rounded up and exterminated.
-Defenseless people rounded up and exterminated in the 20th Century because of gun control: 56 million.

[Editor: You can argue about the numbers, but the point here is that disarmed citizens are vulnerable, and that there are many historical examples of disarmed citizens being killed and oppressed by their own government. The excuse given by authorities that they need to take guns away from citizens in order to lower crime rates is not supported by facts. Even if a government does not turn on its own citizens after disarming them, people are less safe – because unarmed citizens are easy targets to criminals. Over and over again, it has been clearly shown that taking guns away from citizens does not lead to a decrease in crime but rather a dramatic increase.]

You won’t see this data on the US evening news, or hear politicians disseminating this information. Guns in the hands of honest citizens save lives and property and, yes, gun-control laws adversely affect only the law-abiding citizens. Take note my fellow Americans, before it’s too late! The next time someone talks in favor of gun control, please remind them of this history lesson. With guns, we are ‘citizens’. Without them, we are ‘subjects’. During WWII the Japanese decided not to invade America because they knew most Americans were ARMED! If you value your freedom, please spread this antigun-control message to all of your friends.

-SWITZERLAND ISSUES EVERY HOUSEHOLD A GUN!
-SWITZERLAND’S GOVERNMENT TRAINS EVERY ADULT THEY ISSUE A RIFLE.
-SWITZERLAND HAS THE LOWEST GUN RELATED CRIME RATE OF ANY CIVILIZED COUNTRY IN THE WORLD!!!

IT’S A NO BRAINER! DON’T LET OUR GOVERNMENT WASTE MILLIONS OF OUR TAX DOLLARS IN AN EFFORT TO MAKE ALL LAW ABIDING CITIZENS AN EASY TARGET.

Spread the word everywhere you can that you are a firm believer in the 2nd Amendment!

It’s time to speak loud before they try to silence and disarm us. You’re not imagining it, history shows that governments always manipulate tragedies to attempt to disarm the people.

In the 20th Century:

• Governments murdered four times as many civilians as were killed in all the international and domestic wars combined.

• Governments murdered millions more people than were killed by common criminals.

How could governments kill so many people? The governments had the power – and the people, the victims, were unable to resist. The victims were unarmed. View the graph below:

PETITION INFO: We must petition Obama to uphold our second amendment rights, all of them. Including our right to bear arms that will reasonably defend us from ALL ENEMIES foriegn or domestic. We must also educate the public as the media and goverment have demonized the words “assualt weapon”. In fact there has not been any type of “assualt weapon” used in any of the recent shootings. An assualt weapon is a weapon with selective fire. If we move forward on the assault weapon ban we move towards the total disarming of Americans. Where will the line be drawn? These so called assault weapons have few differences from our hunting rifles with the only difference being the stock and furniture. It was proven once before that a ban on “assualt weapons” is useless. Columbine happen in the middle of the Clinton ban

My apologies to Professor Reynolds but I read this item of his and just knew that I had to post it in it’s entirety . I hope he doesn’t mind . The true goals of these cretinous “gaia gangsters” mean none of us any good at all .
Comparing them to the original   “damn the technology” cult , the Luddites , is to contrast Charles Manson with Adolph Hitler .

Evil is the word .

”  THE FACE OF GENOCIDAL ECO-FASCISM :

“am not exaggerating. This is Finnish writer Pentti Linkola — a man who demands that the human population reduce its size to around 500 million and abandon modern technology and the pursuit of economic growth — in his own words.”

As Bob Zubrin has pointed out , such sentiments, if usually a bit less bluntly stated, are driving environmental policy nowadays. It’s Himmler in a green shirt. These are not nice people who want good things for everyone. These are evil people who hanker after mass death.
Still, it’s educational to hear things like this: “The United States symbolises the worst  ideologies in the world: growth and freedom.” If you like growth and freedom, these people are your enemies. Remember that and treat them accordingly. ”

On this first of May 2012 , also known as May Day or World Worker’s Day we explore the human cost of the regimes these protesters romanticize . From having it’s pagan origins as a Spring Festival and proceeding to become a campaign for a 8 hour work day this holiday has been seized  first by the labor unions  by the World Worker’s Party and now by the lovely people of the Occupy movement as their day of protest .

Behold some of their prized symbols ,

Seems to me , most people would love to be receiving a wage today . Enslavement to day takes the shape of government dependency .

.  Well , class warfare is certainly back in vogue with this administration .

But enough with the romanticized version .  Let’s get down to the cold hard facts of the “workers paradises” …

The cost of this grand century long experiment is well beyond 100,000,000 souls and still climbing .

Soviet Union : Range from 61 million to 120 million

People’s Republic of China : Range from 40 million to 70 million

People’s Republic of North Korea : Range from 1,600,000 to 3,000,000

Cambodia : Estimated 1,600,000

The Nazi’s : Estimated 20,000,000 *

Yes the Nazis belong on this list . Contrary to the Leftist revisionists the party was the ” National Socialist ” party . This is by no means comprehensive but nevertheless serves to illustrate exactly how worthy of admiration are the regimes held up for evidence of ” worker’s paradises ” .

I leave you with some links to more comprehensive studies on the deaths generated by the experiment of the ” Great socialism ” of the twentieth century , the bloodiest in human history thanks in large part to the socialist dream .

I leave you with this estimate of total deaths attributable to socialism/communism through the last century put for by . Zbigniew Brzezinski :Out of Control: Global Turmoil on the Eve of the Twenty-first Century (1993)

  • “Lives deliberately extinguished by politically motivated carnage”:
    • 167,000,000 to 175,000,000
    • Including:
      • War Dead: 87,500,000
