The 30 Most Intelligent Doggies

Brittany

Our personal favorite , the Brittany

” We feel a little guilty labeling one dog smarter than another, but Stanley Coren, a professor of psychology at the University of British Columbia Vancouver, published a book in 1994 titled The Intelligence of Dogs. In this book he highlights his research, explaining how he determined which dogs were smarter than others. He determined that dogs have three types of intelligence: instinctive intelligence, adaptive intelligence, and working and obedience intelligence.

Instinctive intelligence is a measurement of how well the breed performs the task it was bred for. Is it a herding dog? Well, how good of a job does it do herding livestock?”

” Adaptive intelligence is all about independent problem solving. Without any training, how quickly and thoroughly will the dog adapt to its environment and solve problems?

Working and obedience intelligence deals with what the dog can learn from humans. This has to do with trainability. So, a dog may have instinctive and adaptive intelligence in excess, but be a pain in the rear to train. Or, the breed may take to training like nobody’s business, but be further down the list than others who are more stubborn.

So, without further delay, check out the 30 most intelligence dogs! “

Smartest Dog Breeds

” How do you qualify a question that asks what the smartest dog breeds are?

Defining the smartest dog breeds depends on what defines a “smart dog.” Is it the ability to wrap people around her dewclaw and get her way, no matter what?

Which dog is smarter, the one that does as he’s told and works hard for his supper or the one that cocks her head, looks confused and is waited on because she’s obviously too challenged to find her way to her own food bowl?”

Here are some of the dumber breeds …

” Breeds often accused of being most likely to be held back a grade include:

Owners of these breeds might agree their dogs may not have college futures, but they do have street smarts, and when it comes to getting their way, they’re without peer.

The reason for these differences in the smartest dog breeds and “other breeds” is all in the genes.

Or more precisely, the tendency to follow human direction depends very much on what a breed was developed to do in the first place. Of the most trainable breeds, almost all come from herding or retrieving backgrounds, jobs for which the ability to follow human cues is vital.”

Humans Evolving Into Bigger Idiots?

If one is to judge by the present culture , we would have to agree .

” It’s also hard to refute. The last few decades of disasters are hardly support for any argument of massive intelligence by humans. From great prosperity to great stupidity is apparently easy, if you’re dumb enough.

The sheer hatred of intellect in media, with “nerds”, “geeks” and other pre-pubescent language, is also pretty obvious. If you’ve got ten broken legs, apparently you go and get a celebrity, not a doctor.

TV is also a great example of total loss of intelligence across society. Find a group of layabouts, stick them in front of a camera, give them a few circus tricks to do and call it entertainment. The most boring people on Earth are the new norm. In the 60s, you’d never have lasted a second. Now, we’re on the umpteenth year of Big Brother, “talent” shows with old has-beens as judges, and of course endless revivals of every movie ever made. Intelligent? No. Nothing like it.

The rot goes deeper, though. We now have highly qualified people who can’t think outside their training at all. They will not question one word of anything they’ve “learned”. We have academics fearlessly upholding century or more old theories as though they’ll never change.

They’re like little kids. This is how you learn, and they just don’t take it any further. They don’t know how to do any sort of original interpretation. There’s even a sick statistic running around that about 40% of college grads don’t read a book ever again after graduation. ”

I Am The Slime

Like they have no idea where the leaks are coming from … Want to buy a bridge John ?

“A number of those leaks, and others in the last months about drone activities and other activities are frankly all against national security interests,” said Sen. John Kerry (D-Mass.), chairman of the Foreign Relations Committee. “I think they’re dangerous, damaging, and whoever is doing that is not acting in the interest of the United States of America.”

Because as we all know , the Dem’s are oh so concerned with the military and the CIA

With Hollywood and the media pulling out all the stops to save their boy , including making a campaign movie about Obama’s bin Laden hit , should we really be caught unaware by the allegation that they gave access to the producers to sensitive intelligence info ?

“I know, I know … who would have ever guessed that a blockbuster film about the raid that killed Osama bin Laden and was scheduled to open just before the election might have been used for political propaganda?  Well … everyone did, including Maureen Dowd last August when the film’s schedule and subject matter came to light.”

They have been a party to releasing sensitive info that might have helped our efforts to destroy Islamic terrorism at least twice that I can immediately recall . First , with the raid on bin Laden  , and again just weeks ago when they endangered the life of a British undercover asset in order to claim credit for uncovering the underwear bomber plot in Yemen .

“At a briefing in July 2011, Undersecretary of Defense for Intelligence Mike Vickers told filmmakers Michael Boal and Katherine Bigelow that the leaders of the the Special Operations Command couldn’t speak to them for appearances’ sake. However, Vickers said that the Pentagon would make available a Navy SEAL who was involved in planning the raid from its earliest stages.”

                                                                                            UNSCRUPULOUS BASTARDS

The depths that these clowns will go to for votes knows no bounds .

BOMBSHELL: Al-Qaeda Infiltrator was Working for Brits not CIA, Cover Blown for Election Year Politics ”

EVERYTHING is political . Earlier today we posted about “them” , and I deliberately use the term “them” because it should be obvious to all by now that they certainly aren’t US , soiling Mother’s Day , but that is trivial compared to this .

“But as the week progressed, a developing bombshell story got buried under President Obama’s gay marriage announcement. Not only is the supposed CIA asset not a CIA asset at all, but the entire operation was exposed prematurely and the double-agent’s life was immediately threatened by an intelligence leak
that very well may have come out of the White House for political gain. ”

The sixties “me” generation  ” do whatever works for you ” mantra of the left has found it’s personification in the “One ” . No matter what the cost he must be allowed to proceed .

“The leaks about the operation from the American side have infuriated British intelligence officials , who had hoped to
continue the operation. The leaks not only scuttled the mission but put the life of the asset in jeopardy . Even CIA officials, joining their MI5 and MI6 counterparts, were describing the leaks as “despicable,”
attributing them to the Obama administration. ”

We have Brian Terry and hundreds of others dead at his administration’s hands . We have who knows how many intelligence leads and efforts compromised in hasty , politically motivated announcement of bin Laden’s death and now we have the administration putting allie’s intelligence assets at risk for votes .
And let’s not forget the completely unwanted publicity he gave SEAL Team 6 , who paid a horrendous price just months later .

Depicable , absolutely despicable .
