The Independence Day Float That’s Making Obama Supporters Irate

The Independence Day Float That’s Making Obama Supporters Irate

” Freedom of speech is something that is widely celebrated from members of the left. From dressing up like vaginas to prove a point about “women’s rights,” destroying 9/11 memorials, or defecating on the American flag, liberals fully support freedom of speech. That is, until you criticize their lord and savior, Barack Obama.

Liberals are losing their minds after an Independence Day parade in Norfolk, Nebraska included a float of a “presidential library,” which depicted the Obama’s library as an outhouse.  The main complaint – you guessed it – was that the float was “racist.” “

Let’s compare and contrast , shall we . The above float along with the rodeo clown who was fired from his job for wearing an Obama mask are the two most “outrageous” and “racist” examples of free speech that have provoked the ire of the tolerant left and unleashed torrents of condemnation from same .

On the other hand for the eight years that Bush was in office he was subjected to an unceasing barrage of hatred and vitriol by the “tolerant” Left that is unprecedented in modern political history , all held up as shining examples of the power of our Constitutional rights to free expression , and not just from private citizens , but even from the establishment media itself …

Of course everyone can remember the Bush = Hitler meme …

And then there were the calls for Bush’s outright assassination , in the name of free speech , mind you …

And what of the accolades heaped on the movie “Death of a President” by the oh so tolerant trendsetters of the progressive movement ?

Can anyone of us imagine the uproar and cries of racism that would resound should a similar theme be explored with BHO as the target ?

These are just a few examples of the hypocrisy on display by our “liberal” fellows and don’t even take into consideration the hatred displayed towards others on the right such as Sarah Palin , John McCain , Michelle Bachmann , Ann Coulter and many others .

However you look at it , a “presidential outhouse” and an Obama rodeo clown are quite tame in comparison to the vile criticisms the proponents of conservatism have been subjected to over the years .

Americans Don’t Know WHY We Celebrate the 4th of July or WHAT COUNTRY We Declared Independence From!

A Hidden Camera During DUI Checkpoint Exposes the Vileness of the American Police State

” “He’s perfectly innocent, he knows his rights, he knows what the Constitution says.” mutters the power tripping jackboot cop as he tears apart this innocent man’s vehicle for no other reason than to flex his “authority.”

“ It wasn’t a very good alert….” brags the other jackboot about the drug dog “giving them permission” to search this man’s vehicle. He was likely about to confess to just how arbitrary their decision was in violating this innocent person’s rights, when he spots the camera.

“ Hey Jim……” and they realize they’ve been bamboozled.

Watching this video is incredibly grounding, we can see just how far the US has progressed into a totalitarian police state. These Stasi checkpoints are NOT for your safety, they are to condition innocent people into acquiescing to state intimidation. If you doubt that claim, research how many of these “DUI Checkpoints” actually catch people that are DUI.

Here are the numbers from the checkpoint that night:

  •  250 vehicles passed through the checkpoint
  •  20 vehicles were detained that required further investigation
  •  Three vehicles were searched
  •  One misdemeanor arrest was made
  •  32 citations were issued: Two child restraint device citations, one DUI, 10 citations for violations of the registration law, four citations for violation of the light law, one revoked/suspended driver’s license, six financial responsibility (no insurance), six other driver’s license law violations, and two safety belt law violations.

Only one DUI arrest was made. One out of 250. 250 people were stopped, questioned, their rights violated, and faced potential and real harassment so this department could be 0.4% effective at stopping drunk driving.”

Wasted College Students Show Deplorable, Hilarious Ignorance Of American History

” Welcome back from the long holiday weekend, Daily Caller readers. As you settle into the rest of the summer, take a moment to laugh at these young, almost certainly drunk and possibly stoned American college kids who know nothing about the origins of the country.

YouTube pranking crew Whatever is behind the video. The interviews occurred on July 4th in student-ridden Isla Vista, California, where a typical resident attends the University of California, Santa Barbara or, perhaps, Santa Barbara City College.

“It’s July 4th today and I’m going to be asking people a little bit about the history of July 4th,” explains the narrator at the outset of the clip.”

Revolutionary Times

Revolutionary times are turbulent. They are agitated by the common feeling that the balance has been lost and a tipping point has arrived. Even as we feel the sickening lurches of a nation that appears to be slipping toward the cliff, we should not despair. A revolutionary society moves easily because it is unmoored and can be turned around in the right direction. And when that happens, history changes.

The birth of the United States was not inevitable. It happened against incredible odds and a torrent of difficulties. Now it is caught between decline and rebirth. Which of these it will be, we will learn when enough men and women push one way or another until the next tipping point is reached.

Living in revolutionary times, we cannot idly celebrate a revolution of the past without also committing ourselves to changing the present. Independence is not a gift that was won once and never needs to be thought about again.
