Ariz. County Won’t Charge Rifle-Toting Airport Visitor

No Charges Airport AR

” The Maricopa County Attorney’s Office has agreed not to pursue criminal charges against a man who carried an AR-15 rifle into Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport in July as long as he meets certain requirements, records show.

Peter Steinmetz, a director at the Barrow Neurological Institute in Phoenix, had been facing two counts of disorderly conduct. After signing a “pre-indictment resolution offer” on Tuesday, Steinmetz told KPNX-TV that the deal was a victory for gun-rights advocates.

” I certainly didn’t intend to commit a crime; I did not commit a crime,” Steinmetz said. “I think the important point that was made is that, in fact, as Americans, we have a non-infringeable right to keep and bear arms and that you can legally do so at Sky Harbor Airport.”

Surveillance Video Apparently Catches Guy Doing Something At The Ballot Box That Left Republican Monitor Stunned

” An Arizona county party official said he saw a man stuffing “hundreds” of ballots into the ballot box and later told a local news outlet the entire incident was caught on surveillance video.

“ A person wearing a Citizens for a Better Arizona T-shirt dropped a large box of hundreds of early ballots on the table and started stuffing the ballot box as I watched in amazement,” said A.J. LaFaro, chairman of the Maricopa County Republican Party.

LaFaro said it all happened as he was working with the elections staff during early ballots processing. The team in charge of processing the ballots got “way ahead” so the information systems coordinator convened an extended lunch period from 11:30- 1:00 p.m.

It was between 12:54 and 1:04 that LaFaro said he was seated at one of the cubicles, heard a loud thud and turned around to see the man who he claims was caught on tape stuffing “hundreds” of ballots. LaFaro described the man as a “vulgar, disrespectful, violent thug” with “no respect for our laws.” He said he would have followed the man to his car to get his tag number but “feared for [his] life.”

“ America used to be a nation of laws where one person had one vote,” LaFaro said, the Daily Independent reported. ”I’m sad to say not anymore.” “

While the Citizens For A Better Arizona organization bills itself as a collection of democrats , republicans and independents , a quick look at the bios of their board reveals a collection of lawyers , teachers and union representatives … do the math , but remember , vote fraud is a myth .

Homeowner, Who Interrupted Burglary, Left Shaken After Killing Suspect

Burglar Killed

” When a Phoenix homeowner returned home from work last Wednesday night he walked into a burglary in progress. When the homeowner walked into his house and came face to face with the burglar, he shot and killed him, according to a local Fox affiliate.

It was about 10 p.m. when the homeowner, whose name has not been released, noticed that there were lights on inside of his house when he pulled into the driveway. Feeling that something wasn’t quite right, he grabbed his handgun from his truck before going into the house. Once inside, 22-year-old Aaron Fisher emerged from a bedroom.”

ASSASSINATION ATTEMPT AGAINST SHERIFF JOE ARPAIO

“Authorities have confirmed that an apparent bomb addressed to Maricopa, Ariz., County Sheriff Joe Arpaio was uncovered and diverted, and now investigators are beginning to look into a list of his enemies for any links or connections.

Those who have had conflicts with him, those who might be coming under investigation, those who have been unsuccessful in fights with him.

That should be a job.

Arpaio, who has described himself as the “toughest sheriff in America,” has had conflicts over the past few years with advocates for illegal immigration, those who don’t like his enforcement of state laws in Arizona, and those who don’t like him investigating certain topics, including the validity of Barack Obama’s birth documentation. Others don’t like him because he’s been aggressive in fighting the war on illegal immigration in his border state, and his stand on law-and-order.

Historically, he’s made enemies for his procedures of dressing jail inmates in pink and letting them live in tents in the Arizona heat.

A spokeswoman for his office today told WND that five members from Mexican drug cartels in just the past few years have threatened Arpaio’s life, including offering a $4 million bounty announced by one suspect just this week.

The spokeswoman told WND that over the last 18 months there have been a dozen threats to the sheriff’s life, resulting in four arrests so far.”

” Feds Drop Criminal Case Against
Sheriff Joe Arpaio

” Federal authorities announced Friday that they’re closing their
abuse-of-power investigation into Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio in Arizona without filing charges against him.

Authorities were investigating America’s self-proclaimed toughest sheriff for his part in failed public corruption cases against officials who were odds with him. Arpaio
brought cases against a judge and two county officials in 2009.

Assistant U.S. Attorney Ann Birmingham Scheel released a statement saying her office
“is closing its investigation into allegations of criminal conduct” by current and former members of the sheriff‘s and county attorney’s offices.”
