Hillary Clinton, Saul Alinsky Correspondence Revealed

” Previously unpublished correspondence between Hillary Clinton and the late left-wing organizer Saul Alinsky reveal new details about her relationship with the controversial Chicago activist and shed light on her early ideological development.

Clinton met with Alinsky several times in 1968 while writing a Wellesley college thesis about his theory of community organizing.

Clinton’s relationship with Alinsky, and her support for his philosophy, continued for several years after she entered Yale law school in 1969, two letters obtained by the Washington Free Beacon show.

The letters obtained by the Free Beacon are part of the archives for the Industrial Areas Foundation, a training center for community organizers founded by Alinsky, which are housed at the University of Texas at Austin.

The letters also suggest that Alinsky, who died in 1972, had a deeper influence on Clinton’s early political views than previously known.

A 23-year-old Hillary Clinton was living in Berkeley, California, in the summer of 1971. She was interning at the left-wing law firm Treuhaft, Walker and Burnstein, known for its radical politics and a client roster that included Black Panthers and other militants.”

Ten Ways Republicans Are Giving President Obama A Taste Of His Own Alinsky

” The Republican members of Congress are giving President Obama a real taste of being on the receiving end of the radical community organizing tactics pioneered by Saul Alinsky. And the president — who many conservatives andeven some non-partisan biographers believe has long admired and emulated Alinsky’s methods — doesn’t seem to like it one bit.

Alinsky, a Chicago-based community organizerwhose followers hired and trained a young Barack Obama in community organizing, authored a landmark handbook, Rules for Radicals, a year before his 1972 death. The book opens with a blunt statement on who the book is written for:

The Prince was written by Machiavelli for the Haves on how to hold power,” reads the book. “Rules for Radicals is written for the Have-Nots on how to take it away.”

In an American government where Republicans hold only the House of Representatives while the Democrats hold the Senate and the massive power of the Presidency, there’s not much question as to which party makes up the political “Have-Nots.”

Now key GOP members like Senator Ted Cruz (R-Texas)Senator Mike Lee (R-Utah) andRepresentative Tom Graves (R-Georgia) seem to be taking Alinsky’s advice for Have-Nots to heart. Their battle with the Democrat Haves is taking on a tint that would make old Saul proud.

Here are ten quotes from Rules for Radicals that appear to have materially influenced the Republican Congressional anti-Obamacare playbook:

2.      “If by losing in a certain action he can get more members than by winning, then victory lies in losing and he will lose.”

Conventional wisdom in Washington last week was that Ted Cruz’s overnight anti-Obamacare screed was a futile waste of time. But Cruz seems to have been burning the midnight oil more than on just the evening he gave the speech – perhaps reading Rules for Radicals. His performance garnered rave reviews from rank and file Republicans and appears to have plopped the Senator right at the front of the GOP presidential field.”

Is Obama Waging Psychological Warfare On Americans?

” I believe that the Obama administration is conducting psychological warfare on conservative Americans. Not only that but it is also waging this war on all Americans who previously viewed themselves, their country, their Constitution and their overwhelming belief in God as a force for good in the world.”

” Psychological warfare has been described as a set of techniques aimed at influencing a target audience’s value systems or beliefs and inducing confessions of wrongdoing or attitudes favorable to the group proffering the techniques. ”

” The techniques are often combined with black ops strategy, in which covert initiatives seek to dispirit, disempower and confuse adversaries.”

“…The thirteenth rule: Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, and polarize it. — P.126-129”

If you think about it , the Obama administration’s efforts in regard to reshaping the way American’s view their country and history is nothing but the opening of another front in the battle to control American “hearts and minds” . The first front started two generations ago and continues unabated in the education establishment .

The public school system has become nothing but a Statist propaganda machine and Obama’s psy-ops are a continuation of that effort brought to the Bully Pulpit. This is straight out of Saul Alinsky‘s Statist bible “Rules For Radicals” , with a dose of Cloward-Piven thrown in for good measure.

Remember that the Left has absolute control over the educational establishment and has maintained it since the sixties . That was no accident .

Obama Quotes Alinsky In Speech To Young Israelis

” In his address in Jerusalem today, President Obama channeled Saul Alinsky, citing the radical community organizer’s defining mantra as he urged young Israelis to “create change” to nudge their leadership to act.

Obama told a crowd of college students at Jerusalem’s main convention center that Israel “has the wisdom to see the world as it is, but also the courage to see the world as it should be.”

One of Alinsky’s major themes was working with the world as it “is” to turn it into the world as “it should be.”

In his defining work, “Rules for Radicals,” which he dedicated to “the first rebel,” Lucifer, Alinsky used those words to lay out his main agenda. He asserted radical change must be brought about by working within a system instead of attacking it from the outside.

“It is necessary to begin where the world is if we are going to change it to what we think it should be. That means working in the system,” wrote Alinsky. “

The Left’s Alinsky Tactics In The Gun Debate

” In a blog for today’s American Thinker, Joseph Smith says that National Rifle Association Executive Vice President Wayne LaPierre is getting the “Alinsky Treatment” from leftists in the media and elsewhere.  He’s correct because as he said, they are attempting to freeze him as a/the target, personalize the gun issue, and demonize him for defending our right to bear arms–a right that’s guaranteed by our Constitution.

Make no mistake: the Second Amendment to the Constitution is the real target of leftist fanatics in this country–not LaPierre and Pratt.  They are merely the faces of the issue, and that’s why they are under attack.

Gun control advocates (i.e., private gun ownership abolitionists) in politics and the media will use every tragedy they can in their never-ending quest to do away with our right to bear arms.  They won’t let up, and they will use every dirty trick in the book to try and sway public opinion.  To date, they have been unsuccessful as Kurt Schlichter explains in hisop-ed piece titled “Liberals Panic As They Lose the Gun Narrative”:

When you argue for a living, you can tell how an argument is going for you. The evidence and my gut both tell me that the liberals have lost control of the gun control narrative.

Not for lack of trying – it was almost as if they were poised to leap into action across the political, media and cultural spectrum the second the next semi-human creep shot up another “gun free zone.” This was their big opening to shift the debate and now it’s closing. They’ve lost, and they are going nuts.

Winston Churchill said, “Never, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, give up. Never give up. Never give up. Never give up.”    ”
