10 Best Bolt-Action Rifles Of All Time

10 Best Bolt-Actions

” Hundreds of different bolt-action rifles originated in Europe and the United States, and today hunters have a wide selection of turnbolt rifles to meet every hunting situation and budget. The modern bolt-action rifle is lighter and more accurate than at any time in history. Over the past several years there have been numerous upgrades to bolt-action design in the form of synthetic stocks, improved finishes and better machining, but today’s rifles remain very much true to original designs.

A few bolt-action designs stand out as the best in history. Some have a reputation for rock-solid dependability, some have become hunting field favorites, and others have revolutionized bolt gun design. Certain guns, such as the Winchester Model 70, have been the basis for a number of other, later designs that have also been successful. Others, such as the Remington Model 700, have become so widely accepted by shooters and hunters that you’ll find one in virtually every hunting camp in the country. However, all of these guns, have earned a place in history as the best bolt guns ever created.

Here’s a look at the 10 best bolt guns of all time. Be sure to vote for your favorite and enter the debate! “

Gripping Speech On Behalf Of Rancher: Which One Of Us Will Snipers Shoot?

” With tensions simmering in the standoff between Nevada rancherCliven Bundy and the Bureau of Land Management, a Bundy supporter wonders when federal agents are going to “fire the next shot heard around the world.”

Speaking this week before a packed town hall meeting in Moapa, Nev., with Bundy looking on, the unidentified man offered a gripping account of the dangers residents face, demonstrating why the impasse remains a powder keg waiting to explode, according to a video of his remarks.

Bundy has locked horns with the federal government because the rancher’s cattle are grazing on public land — the rights to which the family says has been handed down through generations. Now the Bureau of Land Management, insisting the “trespass cattle” have been allowed to graze illegally, is rounding up the livestock.”

Homeland Security’s Heavily Armed East Williamsburg Raid ‘Terrorized And Confused’ Residents

” A number of East Williamsburg and Bushwick residents were surprised by a combined federal and NYPD raid on Devoe Street early Sunday morning. Some were disturbed by a loud, low-flying helicopter, while others were simply stopped from going home because the street was blocked off.

Witnesses spotted a big Department of Homeland Security truck as well as DHS agents toting machine guns as they raided 221 Devoe Street. The NYPD was also involved, and one officer told a resident that the bust turned up “kilos of heroin.” (Apparently the drugs may have been from out of the country, hence DHS.)

A resident in a neighboring building told us that he and his partner “were utterly confused and frankly terrorized…I literally had a flashlight-gun pointed at me from a sniper on top of the black armored truck the first time I opened our window to see what was going on.” “

Apparently every crime is now a matter of national security . The justification for Federal stormtroopers to come your way is anything that they say it is , like the “drugs came from outside the country” . There’s a surprise , last we knew  opium was not a domestic cash crop … Just another flimsy excuse for the Feds to usurp state and local authority .

According to the Homeland Security website their responsibilities include :

” HSI investigates immigration crime, human rights violations and human smuggling, smuggling of narcotics, weapons and other types of contraband, financial crimes, cybercrime and export enforcement issues.”

We know that they are not doing anything to interfere with the flow of illegal immigration , human smuggling or drug smuggling , seeing as how the Border Patrol has been ordered to “run away” from those folks crossing the border and drug mules . Their sole purpose then , would seem to be to terrorize the legal populace and create a climate of submission .

Leaked Phone Call: Kiev Snipers Hired By US-Backed Opposition

” Details of a leaked phone call between EU foreign affairs chief Catherine Ashton and Estonian foreign affairs minister Urmas Paet suggest that the US-backed opposition was responsible for hiring snipers who gunned down protesters in Kiev and not the deposed government of Viktor Yanukovich, as the media widely claimed.

During the phone call, Paet tells Ashton that evidence presented to him by a doctor who treated victims of the sniper attacks clearly indicates both police and protesters were being shot at by the same people.

“ There is now stronger and stronger understanding that behind the snipers, it was not Yanukovich, but it was somebody from the new coalition,” said Paet during the phone call, which was hacked by the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU).

“ And second, what was quite disturbing, this same Olga [Bogomolets] told as well that all the evidence shows that the people who were killed by snipers from both sides, among policemen and then people from the streets, that they were the same snipers killing people from both sides,” the Estonian FM added.”

Arrest Warrants Issued For Yanukovych, Other Former Ukraine Officials On Suspicion Of Mass Murder

” Former President Viktor Yanukovych is wanted for “mass killings of civilians,” reported acting Interior Minister Arsen Avakov on his Facebook page on the morning of Feb. 24.

Avakov, who is now the nation’s top cop, said that arrest warrants have been issued for Yanukovych and “other (former) government officials.” He did not name the other former officials wanted by police.

Avakov also didn’t specify which killings, but it is presumed that the investigation centers on whether Yanukovych hired snipers or ordered riot police to shoot EuroMaidan demonstrators in January and February.

Nearly 100 civilians have been killed in the demonstrations, including at least 75 people from Feb. 18-20, triggering Yanukovych’s flight from Kyiv and subsequent impeachment from office by parliament on Feb. 22.”

Lot’s more reporting at the Kyiv Post and in other news the people have opened up Yanukovych’s dacha in the Crimea and posted a video hinting at the ex-president’s extravagant life style …

Дача Януковича в заповіднику “Айя”. #Крим

Published on Feb 23, 2014

The translation is as follows :

“Another family residence Yanukovych became available to the public. This time in the Crimea. There’s cape Aya – Oleksandr Yanukovych built himself a cottage. Iconic building erected in the midst of Gdańsk Reserve – in place of the relic forest, where previously grown pine and rare species of juniper. Here and there still are builders and is building. against guards stopped close gates to visitors. therefore the inhabitants of Sevastopol already engaged in sightseeing tours area. “

The construction of Yanukovych’s “cottage” is alleged to been extremely damaging to the environment and resulted in the mass cutting of ancient trees to make way for one of his vacation homes .

In 19 Minutes, A Team Of Snipers Destroyed 17 Transformers At A Power Station In California

P G&E Sniper Attack

” If you have not heard about the attack on the Silicon Valley substation yet, you should look into it. The following is an excerpt from a Business Insider article about the sniper assault…

The Wall Street Journal’s Rebecca Smith reports that a former Federal Energy Regulatory Commission chairman is acknowledging for the first time that a group of snipers shot up a Silicon Valley substation for 19 minutes last year, knocking out 17 transformers before slipping away into the night.”

” The attack was “the most significant incident of domestic terrorism involving the grid that has ever occurred” in the U.S., Jon Wellinghoff, who was chairman of the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission at the time, told Smith.

Evidence found at the scene included “more than 100 fingerprint-free shell casings“, and little piles of rocks “that appeared to have been left by an advance scout to tell the attackers where to get the best shots.”

So much damage was done to the substation that it was closed down for a month.”

FBI Document—“[DELETED]” Plots To Kill Occupy Leaders “If Deemed Necessary”

FBI Occupy

” Would you be surprised to learn that this intelligence comes not from a shadowy whistle-blower but from the FBI itself – specifically, from a document obtained from Houston FBI office last December, as part of a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request filed by the Washington, DC-based Partnership for Civil Justice Fund?

To repeat: this comes from the FBI itself. The question, then, is: What did the FBI do about it?

Remember the Occupy Movement? The peaceful crowds that camped out in the center of a number of cities in the fall of 2011, calling for some recognition by local, state and federal authorities that our democratic system was out of whack, controlled by corporate interests, and in need of immediate repair?

This story dates back a few months but if you are like us you probably never heard about it .

” That movement swept the US beginning in mid-September 2011. When, in early October, the movement came to Houston, Texas, law enforcement officials and the city’s banking and oil industry executives freaked out  perhaps even more so than they did in some other cities. The push-back took the form of violent assaults by police on Occupy activists, federal and local surveillance of people seen as organizers, infiltration by police provocateurs—and, as crazy as it sounds, some kind of plot to assassinate the “leaders” of this non-violent and leaderless movement.

But don’t take our word for it. Here’s what the document obtained from the Houston FBI, said:

An identified [DELETED] as of October planned to engage in sniper attacks against protestors (sic) in Houston, Texas if deemed necessary. An identified [DELETED] had received intelligence that indicated the protesters in New York and Seattle planned similar protests in Houston, Dallas, San Antonio and Austin, Texas. [DELETED] planned to gather intelligence against the leaders of the protest groups and obtain photographs, then formulate a plan to kill the leadership via suppressed sniper rifles. (Note: protests continued throughout the weekend with approximately 6000 persons in NYC. ‘Occupy Wall Street’ protests have spread to about half of all states in the US, over a dozen European and Asian cities, including protests in Cleveland (10/6-8/11) at Willard Park which was initially attended by hundreds of protesters.) “

Is Tracking Point’s Precision Guided Firearm the Future…

Published on Jan 22, 2013

” This new shooting system takes fighter jet technology and applies it to long-range shooting. Here’s how it works. First the shooter tags his target. Then the scope takes a ballistic formula accounting for distance, wind, elevation, temperature and a wide variety of other factors and tracks the target. The system only allows the shooter to fire when the reticle (or in this case an ‘x’) is in proper position to hit the target.”

Ted Nugent :

” I have achieved the ultimate gun nut American dream by being trained by the greatest snipers the world has ever known,  being one of the lucky few to get so much trigger time with the heroes of the US Military and law enforcement. I have spent my life studying guns, admiring guns, shooting guns, fondling guns, cleaning guns, buying guns, wearing out guns, going to gun shows, writing about guns, promoting gun ownership, giving guns as gifts, and teaching others about guns.  I’m the gun guy, a loud guitar Dirty Harry with a ponytail. “

” What I’m rarely asked is what I believe to be the most important gun. Without question, the Red Ryder BB gun is the most important gun in the history of American weaponry.  I suspect more American shooters have begun their shooting lifestyle with a Red Ryder than any other gun.  Tens of millions of Red Ryders have probably been sold, making it the most popular gun in American history. “
