Neighbor Berates Veteran As He Takes Down Flag David Hall

Published on May 5, 2014

” Shocking surveillance camera video shows a Navy SEAL veteran being berated by his neighbor on his own porch while he tried to put away his stars and stripes. David Hall was a Navy SEAL for 21 years. In 2004 in Iraq, he tried to avoid a grenade, jumped off a roof and busted his knee so badly that he almost lost his leg.
Now, Hall lives in Virginia Beach, where he admits he and his neighbor have been at odds since a dispute over the homeowner’s association a few years ago. But ever since, Hall says the verbal abuse has been relentless.

Hall posted surveillance video to YouTube that shows his neighbor harassing him while he takes down his flag at sunset. The neighbor can be heard cursing at Hall and accusing him of “acting fat and laying around.” The neighbor says Hall is actually the bully.

Hall has decided to put his home up for sale and leave the neighborhood.”

… In His Own Yard

” A suspended seventh-grade student in Virginia Beach, Va., could be expelled for the rest of the school year for shooting an airsoft gun with a friend in his yard as they waited for the bus to come.

Khalid Caraballo, 12, and his friend, Aidan, were suspended for “possession, handling and use of a firearm” because they “shot two other friends who were with them while playing” with the airsoft guns, WAVY-TV reported.

“We were in our yard. This had nothing to do with school,” the student said.”

2 FBI Agents Involved In The Arrest Of Boston Bombing Suspect Die From Mysterious Helicopter Fall

”  Two members of the FBI’s elite counterterrorism unit died Friday while practicing how to quickly drop from a helicopter to a ship using a rope, the FBI announced Monday in a statement.

The statement gave few details regarding the deaths of Special Agents Christopher Lorek and Stephen Shaw, other than to say the helicopter encountered unspecified difficulties and the agents fell a “significant distance.”

A law enforcement source told The Pilot the incident happened about 12 nautical miles off the coast of Virginia Beach. The official blamed bad weather for the incident and said the agents – members of the FBI’s Hostage Rescue Team, based in Quantico – fell into the water. The official said he believed the agents died as a result of the impact rather than drowning.

Glenn McBride, a spokesman for the state medical examiner’s office, said it could be months before his staff can release a final cause and manner of death for the two agents. He said they must wait for the results of routine toxicology tests.”

Piers Morgan Proves To Be A Pompous Brit

Every Single Bit Of Gun Advice Biden Gives Will Get You Arrested

Via US News & World Report, which is admirably covering the “things Biden says that will get you thrown in jail” beat:

Vice President Joe Biden told Field & Stream magazine in an interview published Monday, “[if] you want to keep someone away from your house, just fire the shotgun through the door.”

Coincidentally, a 22-year-old man in Virginia Beach, Va., was charged Monday with reckless handling of a firearm after doing just that a couple days earlier.

Local TV station WAVY 10 reports that the man observed two masked men leaning into his bedroom window. The men allegedly had weapons and told him to close his bedroom door. He stepped outside of his bedroom and did as instructed, then fired his shotgun through the closed door and then several more times at the window.

The only person who should ever take Biden’s gun advice is David Gregory, who is of course exempt from gun laws because he has very important points to make.

And, when it comes to gun laws for thee but not for me, you can’t beat this attack of hypocrisy combined with cronyism. Hypocrony? Guess who’s exempt from New York’s new high-capacity magazine ban?

Just a month after Gov. Andrew Cuomo signed the strictest gun control law in the country, state officials plan to make some exemptions.

The law toughened restrictions on military-style rifles and high-capacity semiautomatic handguns, but those restrictions will be changed so those types of weapons can be used on the sets of television shows and movies being shot in New York.”

Virginia Pizza Joint Offers 15 Percent Discount If You Pack A Gun

“Jay Luze is the owner of the ‘All Around Pizza Deli’ in Virginia Beach and, not surprisingly, owns a gun himself and is a strong supporter of gun rights.

By his account, some 80 percent of his customers are bringing along a weapon and he intends to extend the offer, made this month, right through March and is considering making it permanent. One customer, he said, got his discount while toting an AK 47.

Luze did not say if he’s had complaints or heard of anyone frightened off by an armed clientele.”

Ex-SEAL One-Ups NRA With Tougher, Safer Plan

” His is an idea that is catching fire, though he said the heated debate over gun control is stealing time and attention away from effective prevention measures for schools. Jed Babbin, a columnist for the American Spectator and a friend of McClellan, wrote that the SEAL school defense plan would have been effective at Sandy Hook.

“Newtown school principal Dawn Hochsprung and school psychologist Mary Sherlach confronted shooter Adam Lanza, and were killed trying to stop him. Had they a TASER, perhaps the killing would have ended, and without their lives being taken,” he wrote.”
