Open mic shows reporters coordinating question on whether Romney regrets criticizing Obama on Egypt, Libya

“Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney was widely criticized Wednesday for his outspoken criticism of the Obama administration on its handling of the attacks on U.S. diplomatic stations in Egypt and Libya.

That criticism hasn’t only been coming from campaign operatives, but apparently from the media as well.

The Right Scoop blog captured the audio feed from Romney’s press briefing on the situation Wednesday morning, showing reporters covering Romney working together to base their question on that premise.”

Clarice Feldman has a great piece about our “super genius” Wile E Coyote president , his continual exploding cigar moments and the desperate attempts by his toadies in the media to cover his a..

Even to the point of fabricating scandal out of whole cloth . See for example Chick-fil-A . Read the whole story .

” While the story contains tons of material defending traditional Christian teachings on sexuality, the controversial entrepreneur never talks about gay rights or gay marriage. Why? Because he wasn’t
asked about those issues in the interview.

   As the talented ElizabethScalia observes:

Read Mattingly’s whole piece, wherein he addresses the whole “well, they may not have said it but it’s what they meant, so what’s the big deal?” angle.

The big deal is simply this: the press put aside context and decided to paint this company as some radically-religious-gay-hating-entity and then let the forces of anger, hate and spite have their way with it.

The truth is, one can be a Christian and still be sympathetic to some parts of the so-called “gay agenda” without signing on
in toto. One can disagree on the issue of gay marriage – based on scripture, or thousands of years of tradition, or on natural law  without actually hating
anyone.

But the right to principled opposition is being erased, quickly, and the press is doing all it can to help erase it. We are losing the
right to say, “I don’t think the same way you do; my opinions are different.”

That matters, a lot.

This is our mainstream press – the people charged with the public trust – and it has moved beyond advocacy and into “search
and destroy” mode.[/quote]

Bear in mind that not only did the company’s CEO never discuss gay marriage with the reporter, but also there’s never been even a
suggestion that the company-known for its fine product, excellent service and outstanding
community welfare efforts and employee relations-has discriminated in any way against
gays. “

What’s Good for the Goose …

I too am of the opinion that some oppo-research is in order for these bootlickers in the old media . Seems to me that by casting their lot with Obama and the progressive Left they forfeit any claim to neutrality thus making them part of the opposing team .

“We now have three  instances of three individual Politico writers digging up and publishing political oppo-research about the private lives of private citizens who don’t support Obama, and the motive behind these attacks can only be for two reasons:…”

While I’m no “Birther” there can be no doubt that the preponderance of evidence can only lead one to the conclusion that Barack Hussein Obama has been anything but honest with the American people . His entire campaign , administration and the life leading up to today has been deliberately shrouded in secrecy . It’s no wonder that more and more people are having doubts about the man’s integrity and strength of character .

At this point each new revelation only muddies the waters and increases doubts about the man and his personal history . none of which has been in the least bit ameliorated by a compliant press that has completely abdicated it’s responsibility to be the public’s gatekeeper . It should be obvious to all that , not only do we have a chief executive with lots to hide , we also have a fourth estate without the slightest interest in the truth .

“So now Chris Matthews isn’t the only one experiencing a little thrill when he thinks about Barack (omit middle name) Obama. The recent revelation that from the early 1990s until the day before yesterday—or, to be more accurate, until Obama made his decision to run for president—a biographical pamphlet circulated by his literary agents described him as having been “born in Kenya” has been setting the world of Twitter atwitter.

What should we think about that? An agency spokesman who claims to have been responsible for the “born in Kenya” wheeze has publicly said that it was a mistake, a typographical error, a slip of the pen that just went “unchecked” for, um, sixteen-seventeen years. I can understand that. She meant to write “Hawaii” and wrote “Kenya” instead. Could happen to anyone. They look and sound enough alike, don’t they,  that no one noticed. You meant to write “there” and you wrote “their” instead. You meant to write “cup” and you wrote “floccinaucinihilipilification” instead. No one—no one at the literary agency, not the author himself—could be expected to notice. You understand that, right? “
